Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry has conducted JIPMER MBBS 2018 successfully on 3 June. A total of 1,97,751 took JIPMER MBBS, computer-based entrance examination conducted for admission to 200 (150 Puducherry and 50 Karaikal campuses) offered by JIPMER. Puducherry. The national-level medical entrance examination was held from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm across 120 exam centres in India. JIPMER MBBS 2018 exam contains 200 Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English Language & Comprehension and Logical & Quantitative Reasoning. The result of JIPMER MBBS 2018 will be announced on or before 20 June, in the form of merit list.

JIPMER MBBS 2018 result will be announced on or before 20 June, in the form of merit list. JIPMER, Puducherry will prepare category-wise merit list. Only candidates who will secure the minimum qualifying marks will be included in the JIPMER MBBS result 2018. General category aspirants must have to secure 50 percentile, while SC/ST/OBC has to obtain 40 percentile in JIPMER MBBS 2018. For the first time, the authority has introduced negative marking in the marking pattern. As per the marking scheme of JIPMER MBBS, 4 marks will be allotted for a correct answer, while 1 mark will be deducted.
Based on this JIPMER MBBS 2018 result, the selected aspirant will be called for the counselling process. JIPMER MBBS counselling 2018 will be conducted in offline mode. The first round of JIPMER MBBS 2018 counselling will begin from 27 to 29 June. To participate in JIPMER MBBS counselling, aspirants will have to report at the counselling venue as per the reservation roster point. Candidates must report at the counselling venue with relevant documents for verification. The seat allotment process for MBBS courses will be done on the basis of merit rank position, preferences of colleges as well as campuses and availability of seats.
