JEE Main 2018 Toppers - 7 Students in Top 20 and 24 students in top 100 are from ALLEN Career Institute.  On 30 April 2018, CBSE has declared JEE Main Result along with All India rank. Students of ALLEN Career Institute has once again made a mark in JEE Main. ALLEN Career Institute has 2 students in Top 10.  Director Brajesh Maheshwari said that the students of the ALLEN Career Institute have yet again proved their supremacy by securing top ranks in JEE Main 2018.  ALLEN's classroom student Parth Laturia has obtained 3rd Rank at All-India level with 350 marks. Along with that, student Bhaskar Gupta scored 345 marks and secured 7th place at the National level. Parth Laturia is the JEE Main Topper of Allen Carrer Institute. Navneel Singhal has secured AIR-11, Ayush Garg secured AIR-12, AIR-13 is bagged by Lay Jain, AIR-16 by Karan Agarwalla and AIR-19 by Yash Gupta. 24 students of Allen Career Institute are in Top 100 JEE Main 2018 toppers list.

2,31,024 students cleared the JEE Main cut off and have qualified to appear in JEE Advanced. For the top 2 Lakh 31 thousand and 24 students selected this year, the general category cut-offs are 74 marks,45 marks for OBC,29 for SC and 24 for ST, whereas the jee main cut off for Physically handicapped students, was just -35 marks. JEE Main is for admission to 31 NITs, 21 IIITs  and 20 GFTIs, with about 26 thousand seats.

Meet Parth Laturia JEE Main Topper - AIR 3

Parth told that he studied in Nanded in Maharashtra till Class 10. He said, "Students in Kota are passionate about their studies and teachers teach with passion. This place is different from other cities. I got mentally stronger here. These are the words 350 marks, AIR-3, scorer of JEE MAIN-2018". 

Here, I usually talk to my friends about studies, and many types of questions are solved in simple discussions. I believe a regular study is a key to success. I used to regularly revise every subject after the daily class. Apart from the regular coaching, I used to devote 5-6 hours for studies. Every day I had some subject wise targets that I used to complete. My friend Akash's mother lived with us, which helped us. My mother also used to visit me from time to time. Now the preparation for JEE-advanced lies ahead.

AIR 3 Rank Holder has an Interest in Maths

Despite both parents being doctors, Parth got his hands in engineering. On this, he told that "I have an inclination towards Maths and likes solving questions. Because of my interest in Maths, my parents asked me to prepare for Engineering Entrance Examination. Physics seems a little tough, but I enjoy studying it."

Taught values with education

Mother Seema and father Satish told that the study environment in Kota is somewhat different. Here, the students are given basic human values along with their education. They learn to deal with challenging situations. Here, they are inspired to be good human being. Apart from this, students come from all over the country and there is a healthy competition and the talent of the student is recognized. Parth said that since childhood, he was always serious about every kind of his work. Whatever is to be done, he tries to complete it with full concentration and perseverance. 

Re-Creation from TV and Table Tennis

Apart from studies, I am interested in sports. After regularly studying for a few hours, I like to watch TV for a while, which usually include watching news and movies. I am also fond of playing TT. Earlier, I used to play cricket also. Besides this, I also do yoga.

What are his plans

Parth said that I have not thought about future yet. I want to go in the research field. Apart from this, applied Maths is also an option. However, currently, my full focus is on JEE Advanced. I want to do further study in subjects related to mathematics or computers.

Meet Lay Jain JEE Main Topper - AIR 13

  • Father: Anil Kumar Jain, Engineer in Railways
  • Mother: Bhawna Jain, Housewife

All India rank 13 with score 340 in JEE Main 2018. Allen Career Institute's classroom coaching student Lay Jain said that instead of chatting with friends, he used WhatsApp to ask his doubts from faculties and friends. He is having a Facebook account but he is not active on it for more than three months. In Kota, he only concentrated on studies.Kota provides such an opportunity, that the students here can compete not only with Indian students but also with foreign students.

Father Anil Kumar Jain is an engineer in Shamgarh section of the Kota Railway Division and mother Bhawna Jain is a homemaker. Lay Jain has been studying in Allen Carrer Institute Kota for the past five years. His Mother, Bhawna Jain also lives here with him. Brother Abhiman Jain pursuing engineering from IIT Dhanbad. This year Lay has given the 12th class exam. He said that he used to study 9 to 10 hours a day.

Selection in MIT

Lay wants to do research with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He has been selected in MIT. At present, he is gone to Vietnam, to participate in the Asian Physics Olympiad (APHO). Prior to this, Lay has got a Gold medal in International Physics Olympiad and bronze medal in APHO. Chitrang Murdia, who has been an IIT topper, is his idol.

Solving Physics equations is a hobby

Lay said that after graduation, I want to go for research, his favourite is Physics. During the six-hour self-study, he used to give maximum time to Physics. Likes playing chess and badminton. For me, Physics Equations is a stress buster.

Meet Bhaskar Arun Gupta JEE Main Topper - AIR 7

For good studies, it is important to be healthy and it is necessary to take good sleep because a healthy body leads to a healthy mind says, classroom coaching student of the Allen Career Institute, Bhaskar Arun Gupta, who has secured 345 marks in JEE Main 2018 and got 7th position at the All India level. Bhaskar said that he follows a strict schedule for sleeping and so he wakes up at 7 in the morning and goes to sleep at 10 pm every day.

Bhaskar said that I studied for 10 to 11 hours a day; he got the sixth position at the all-India level in KVPY SA class results released a few a days back. Albert Einstein is his idol.

He gives credit for his success to Allen Career Institute and his elder sister, Elina Gupta. She is quite supportive. He likes playing chess; I have participated in the World Youth Chess Championship. Father Arun Gupta is also an IITian and is currently working as a Chemical Engineer in Mumbai. Mother Alpna Gupta is a doctor and has been living with me in Kota for last one and a half years. The atmosphere of the Kota is very positive, which proves to be good for any student. There are only students and teachers everywhere.

Maths is his favourite subject

Bhaskar said that Maths is his favourite subject. He gave maximum time to Maths. It is also quite easy because there is no theory in it, only the equations are solved. Likes watching Hollywood movies

Meet Yash Gupta JEE Main Topper - AIR 19

Has not gone home since last three months for studies

Yash is from Kota station area but is so serious about studies that he has not gone home for the last three months. Classroom student of the Allen Career Institute, Yash has received marks 336 marks in JEE Main and All India Rank 19. Yash said that his house is at the station, and he had to travel 12-13 kilometre to the Institute and it took a lot of time in travel so he took a room on rent to save his time on travel. His mother also lived with him,

Yash says that he was regular in classroom coaching from day one and used to solve the doubts immediately by consulting the teachers. He said he took the weekly test very seriously and this is his mantra for success. Yash said that the system of Weekly Test in Allen is excellent and students can see the improvement week after week. 

Father Ved Prakash and Mother Alka are both doctors by the profession. Yash has received Gold Medal in IJSO and has gone to Vietnam to participate in the Asian Physics Olympiad (APHO).  He wants to pursue Computer Science from IIT Bombay.

JEE Advanced Examination Details

JEE Advanced 2018 will be conducted by IIT Kanpur in online mode this year. The examination will be conducted online at 155 examination centres in the country on May 20. During the examination, each question will be in both English and Hindi medium. Students will also be able to re-answer the question that is saved. Students will be given a scribble pad for the rough work, which the student will have to submit after completion of the exam. This year, students will be provided JEE Advanced Question Paper and the recorded responses on their registered e-mail ID from 25 May.

Online process of JEE Advanced registration will start on 2nd May

Registration for JEE Advanced will begin on May 2. During the registration of JEE Advanced, students will first have to log in using JEE Main roll number and password. The class 10 and Class 12 mark sheet along with caste certificate need to be uploaded after scanning them. The JEE Advanced examination will be conducted in two slots from 9 am to 12 noon and from 2 pm to 5 pm in 155 cities of the country. JEE Advanced results will be announced on June 10.
