JEE Main 2017 Correction of Images uploaded in Application. CBSE has opened a window for students to remove the discrepancy in scanned uploaded image. JEE Main Application process has started on Dec 1, 2016, the last date to apply for JEE mains is 2 January 2017. In case the scanned photograph, thumb impression and signature of the candidate are correct then a message would be displayed stating that No discrepancy found in your uploaded Photograph, Thumb Impression and Signature. You are not allowed to Login through this window

How to remove the discrepancy in scanned, uploaded JEE Mains image(s)


The candidates who have filled the JEE Main Application form and had the discrepancy in scanned, uploaded images can remove the same after login into their account. To eliminate discrepancies, the candidates have to:

  • Visit the Official website of JEE Main.
  • Login using their credentials namely; Application Number and Password.
  • Make the required changes by uploading the Correct image.

What if Unable to log in for JEE Main Image Correction?


In case, the candidates are not able to log in their account for the Correction in JEE Main Image upload; the candidates can retrieve it by following any of the two methods given below:

Retrieving Password

If any candidates have forgotten the password to login credentials, they need to select “I forgot my password” and then click on the continue button. After clicking on the continue button, the candidates will get the following options to retrieve their password.

  • Using Security Question & its Answer you chose while filling the form.
  • Using a verification code sent via text message (SMS) to your Registered Mobile No.
  • Using a reset link sent via Email to your Registered Email address.

Retrieving Application Number

If any candidates have forgotten the password to login credentials then, they need to click on “I forgot my Application Number” and click on the continue button. After clicking on the continue button, the candidates can retrieve their application number by filling the following details.

  • Candidate's Name          
  • Mother's Name
  • Father's Name
  • Date of Birth     
  • State of Eligibility
  • Security Pin      

The aspirants who have not filled the JEE Main Application form yet are advised to fill it before the due date.The last date to fill JEE Main Application  is 2 January 2017. The candidates can find all the important exam dates of JEE Main by following the below link.

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an all India common engineering entrance examination of an objective pattern which is conducted for admission in various engineering colleges and courses all over the country. It is considered as one of the most challenging engineering admission tests.  The JEE Main Pen and Paper based test will be conducted on 2 April and JEE computer based test on 8 and 9 April 2017.
