IPU will offer BA Economics from 2017-18 academic session. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University also known as IPU is going to start a full-time 3-year undergraduate program in Economics. IPU Conducts its own entrance exam named IPU CET for admissions.
- Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University was planning and working to start the program since last year. The University has initiated the process to apply the plan from this academic year and invited interested institutes to apply for grants and affiliation. The affiliation will make the University offer BA (Hons) Economics degree programme.
- The IP University made this decision after realising the demand for Undergraduate study in Economics. In Delhi and NCR, BA (Hons) Economics degree programme is one of the most popular undergraduate programs.
