The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi has decided to allow students from all academic backgrounds into its new MBA program, beginning from 2015-16. IIT Delhi’s MBA program was available only to students with engineering and technological backgrounds, or having a postgraduate in Science, Commerce or Economics earlier.
New Eligibility Criteria for full time MBA at IIT Delhi 2015 is

Bachelors Degree in any branch of Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Pharmacy/ B.Sc. Agriculture Engineering (minimum 4 years after 10+2) OR

Masters degree in any branch of Physical/Chemical/Mathematical Sciences like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Application, Electronic Science, Environmental Science, Operations Research, Computational/Information Science, Agriculture or Master's Degree in Commerce/ Economics, CA/ICWA.
Kanika T Bhal, department head of the MBA program, IIT Delhi, said that the option for cross-disciplinary learning should be available for all and certain subjects should not be restrictive for students from a particular academic background.
She also said that the newly launched program is an all-inclusive course which includes studies from all industries.
In order to be eligible for admission into the MBA program, the candidate’s performance in Class 10, Class 12 and his/her CAT score will be taken into account, including the performance in personal interview and group discussion. Also, factors like candidate’s performance in extracurricular will also be included.
Tution Fees: Rs. 4 Lakhs for the entire MBA Full Time Programme payable in equal installments (4 Semesters)
