Delhi University (DU) Admission for its various undergraduate programmes is going to commence early this year. The university announced its admission schedule for various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level programmes in a press release issued on 10 May on its official website. The admission for all the programmes will be held completely online for all the categories and quota. The details of the registration process and subsequent procedure will be made available by the DU on its official web portal, shortly.
According to some reputed newspapers, more than 56,000 seats will be available for DU Admission 2018-19 for UG courses through its online admission portal which will open on 15 May. The Delhi University Admission for Post Graduate programmes in Cyber Security and Law Diploma will start from 18 May, followed by the admission for M.Phil. and PhD programmes from 20 May 2018.

Special Features of DU Admission 2018-19
There are the following special features of Delhi University Admissions 2018-19:
- The CBSE 12th Result 2018 is expected by the end of May 2018. Keeping in view of the careers of all these students, DU has generated an automatic capturing of the marks of CBSE Class 12 students which will be captured by the DU as soon as the students enter their board registration number.
- The University has also facilitated the aspirants applying through sports quota to upload three best certificates instead of just one.
- To help the aspiring students to apprise about the online admission procedure and programmes available, the DU will hold Open Days sessions from 21 May to 29 May (except on Sunday). The session will be held in the Conference Centre, Near Gate No. 4, North Campus from 10 A.M. to 11.30 A.M. and 12 noon to 1.30 A.M.
DU Admission 2018-19 Seats Availability
According to an information received from a reliable source, out of a total of more than 56,000 seats which will be available for admission to UG courses, 22.5%(12,150) are reserved for SC/ST category, while 27% (14,580 seats) for OBC category.
There are 5% seats (2700) are supernumerary seats in each of the total 61 colleges that come under DU are reserved for Kashmiri migrants who will get a relaxation of up to 10%in cutoffs, while 3% (1,620) seats are reserved for persons with disability.
