Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) is starting 8 new courses from this academic session. Now the eligible students will have an option to apply for admission in any of these 8 new undergraduate and postgraduate programmes from this academic session 2017-18. From the current academic session, MPhil and PhD students will also have an option to choose 4 new courses.
A senior official from the Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) has said that proposal for starting new MPhil and PhD programmes have already been approved by the AUD authority and process for the approval of new masters and undergraduate level programs is about to complete. He also said that the admission guideline and admission schedule will be announced after completing the approval.
Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) has total 2 campuses; Kashmere Gate and Karampura. The eligible candidates can apply an online application form on the official website of AUD. This year, the online application process for Masters, MPhil and PhD programmes is going to start from the fourth week of April 2017 and application for admission into undergraduate programs will be started from the first week of May 2017.
M A Sikandar, the registrar at AUD, said that there will be total 8 new undergraduates, postgraduate level course from this year which will also enhance the total intake capacity by over 350 seats. This is also in addition to the MPhil and PhD seats to be offered by the Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD). “The university operates from two campuses Kashmere Gate and Karampura. The masters and bachelor's in vocational courses will be offered from the Karampura campus, whose present intake capacity is around 200 students“ he also said.
