Uttar Pradesh Government has made the Aadhar compulsory for UP Board exams from 2018. Now all the students appearing in the exam have to carry the Aadhar Card at the examination centre. Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha (UPMS) has made the Aadhar Card mandatory for UP board exams from next academic session. This is mandatory for all students. The candidates failing to do so may be exempted to sit in the examination. The UP board exams 2018 of class 10 and 12 will commence from 6 February 2018 onwards.

This proposal was suggested by the UP board secretary, Neetu Srivastava to identify the student’s actual identity. She said, “Aadhar number will help to catch the fraudulent registrations and many other illegal practices.” Moreover, the additional chief secretary Sanjay Agarwal also directed all the school authorities to announce Aadhar compulsory for UP board exams- 2018.
The number of students who will appear for the exam this year has been increased in comparison to last year. This year 37,12,508 students of class 10 and 30,17,032 students of class 12 will appear in the UP Board exams 2018. By which the total expected number of students can be estimated at 67, 29,540.
UP Board Exam Schedule For Class 10 and 12
Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha (UPMS) has already released the UP Board Exam Schedule for the Class 10 and 12. The candidates who are going to appear in the exam are suggested to go through the complete schedule.
The exam will be conducted in two sessions for both the Class. The First session will start at 7:30 AM to 10:45 AM (morning) and the second will be from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM (evening).
