COMEDK Merit List 2018 (B.Arch) - Documents Required, Counselling Process

COMEDK Merit List 2018 (Architecture) will be released on the basis of NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) and JEE Paper 2. On the basis of the merit list, candidates will be called for the counselling round. Aspirants who have applied for B.Arch. course in COMEDK colleges (Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka) can check their COMEDK B.Arch merit list by clicking on the link provided on the page. Every registered candidate must know that the admissions will be based on the marks scored by them in the NATA/ JEE Paper 2. The COMEDK B.Arch merit list will be published along with the result. Candidates must note that the ranks in COMEDK Architecture merit list 2018 will be allotted on the basis of NATA scores and the average of English and Mathematics marks in the 10+2 or any equivalent qualifying examination. And the seat will be allotted via COMEDK counselling process. Candidates need to pay a part of their tuition fee to accept seats allotted to them for their admission.

COMEDK Merit List 2018 (B.Arch) Details

The merit list of COMEDK 2018 will be based on the NATA scores. And it was earlier announced by the officials that the merit list would be followed by the single window counselling to ensure a fair and transparent evaluation of merit. The COMEDK merit list is generated for the registered candidates. Every applicant must note that the candidate who has been allotted with a higher rank gets the opportunity to select a seat before the candidate who has scored lower.

The candidates who will be allotted rank in merit list are required to appear at the counselling venue.

After Scoring Rank in COMEDK Architecture merit list

After the declaration of COMEDK result the merit list will be released including the ranks based on the candidate’s scores in NATA and the gross score of English and Mathematics marks in their class 12th marks or any other equivalent exam. Candidates who will find their name in COMEDK B. Arch merit list will be called for the COMEDK counselling.

Counselling Process After COMEDK Merit List

The consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka - COMEDK will start the counselling process from 16 July 2018. Candidates who have been allotted seats in COMEDK B. Arch merit list   2018 are required to go further for the counselling process. The counselling process includes below-mentioned steps:-

  • Step 1 – Reporting Section wise
  • Step 2 – Verification of Documents Required
  • Step 3 – Registration, Biometric & Photo Verification
  • Step 4 – Selection of Seat
  • Step 5 – Acknowledgement of selected seats
  • Step 6 – Deposit DD (Demand Draft)
  • Step 7 – Collect Allotment Letter

After completing the following steps candidates will be offered admission into 24 affiliated colleges. Candidates who forget to attend the first round of counselling can select his/her architecture seat during the second round of Architecture counselling. Applicants who have attended/ selected/ not selected their architecture seat are also eligible to attend the second round of COMEDK counselling for B. Arch.

NOTE: - Candidates who will be allotted in engineering seat in the first round, can also attend the first round of Architecture counselling. After selecting the architecture seat in the first round of COMEDK counselling, the engineering seat will be surrendered automatically. The surrendered seat will be added to the second round of engineering counselling.
