WBJEE JECA Result 2019 to be declared on or before 13 August. WBJEE neither informs nor communicates the result to any individual candidates as well as there is no provision for post-publication scrutiny and/or review and hence the Board will not entertain any such request after the examination. Candidates are informed that the duplicate rank card can't be generated at any later stage after a specified date. Hence candidates should retain their rank cards carefully in secured place in undamaged condition for all future purpose.
WBJEE JECA Merit List 2019
The merit list is prepared on the basis of candidates' total score in the entrance examination. The list is prepared in the name and style of GMR (General Merit Rank). Ranking of the said Merit List shall be done in the descending order of total mark scored in the entrance test. However, there may be ties and following tie-breaking rule shall be applicable to them in the determination of their merit rank.
Tie-Breaking Procedure in Merit Rank
- Less negative marks in Mathematics & Aptitude Test taken together.
- More positive marks in Mathematics.
- More positive marks in Aptitude Test.
- Less negative marks in Mathematics.
- Less negative marks in Aptitude.
- If the tie still exists thereafter, same will be broken by the date of birth (DOB) of the concerned candidates; the older candidate will be given preference over the younger one.
WBJEE JECA Counselling 2019
Only those candidates who are selected by WBJEEB on the basis of cut off rank and/or a cutoff score are called for the counselling process. A separate notification with details of counselling/seat allotment and admission is published on the official website of WBJEEB shortly after the publication of result. Candidates have to appear in the counselling process on the specified date and time along with the required documents. No other person is allowed to appear on behalf of the candidate in the counselling process.
