The application process for the GITAM GAT is now started online. The process of filling up the form is ending on 26 March 2017. The candidates who are willing to seek admission into the undergraduate engineering, technology, and Architecture courses should fill the form on or before the due date. Modes of Filling up the GITAM GAT 2018 Application Form

The application form can be filled through two different modes i.e. either through Online or Offline mode. Both the modes are described below. Thus, the candidates can choose any of the modes as per their convenience.

• MODE 1: Online Application: The candidates can fill the GITAM Application Form 2018 through online from any place of convenience. To apply for the GITAM GAT through online mode, the candidates have to follow the link given above on this page.

• MODE 2: Offline Application: The candidates apart from online mode do have the option to fill the form in offline mode. There are two ways to fill the form in offline mode.  Both the ways are mentioned below:
• By Post: Candidates can obtain the Application Form by post from Director-Admissions by sending a request on plain paper giving the candidate’s name with complete mailing address accompanied by DD which will be accepted up to 24 March 2018.
• From Bank: Application Form is also available throughout India in specified branches of Union Bank of India, Indian Bank, and Karur Vysya Bank.

Steps to fill GITAM GAT 2018 Application Form

The candidates are provided with the steps to fill the GITAM GAT Application Form in online mode. The steps given below will help the students in filling up the form without executing any mistakes. 

• STEP 1: Registration: The candidates first have to register themselves by following the link given on this page above which will redirect the candidate to the official page
• STEP 2: Fill in the Application Form: Then comes filling up the application form. In this section, the candidates have to fill the form by furnishing personal, educational, communication etc. details.
• STEP 3: Upload Documents: After filling up the application form, the candidates have to upload the photographs and other important documents if needed.
• STEP 4: Application Fee payment: The candidates after filling up the form should check the details filled by them and at the end, they have to make the payment of the application fee.

Things required before filling the GITAM GAT 2018 Application Form 

• E-mail ID: Candidates need to have a valid e-mail ID before applying online.
• Photograph: Candidates need to upload recent passport size colour photograph not older than 3 months as per the given specifications:
• Format: jpg format only
• Size: greater than 4 kb and less than 50 kb
• Dimensions: 4 cm (width) x 4 cm (Height) only

How to pay GITAM GAT 2018 Application Fee

To complete the application process, the candidates have to pay the application fee. The payment of the application fee can be made by any of the two modes discussed below.

• Mode 1 (Online): Using Debit Card/Credit Card/Net banking-Applicable to those applying Online
• Mode 2 (Demand Draft): The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of GITAM UNIVERSITY,  payable at Visakhapatnam from any scheduled bank- Applicable to both Online and Offline.

Submission of the GITAM GAT 2018 Application Form

At last the candidates have to submit the application form. The illustration of submitting the form by both the ways are given below

For those who have applied through Online mode-  The candidates who have filled the form through online mode have to submit the same online only. The candidates do not have to send the application form and other documents to any of the authority

For those who have applied through Offline mode- Candidates have to note down the Application number on their personal record and keep a photocopy of the filled-in application for future reference and correspondence.

Test Centres to be chosen while filling GITAM GAT 2018 Application Form

The University conducts the Online Admission Test at the following 48 test centres depending upon the number of applications received against each test centre. The candidates while filling up the application form can choose their preference from following test centres.
