The application process of TIFR GS 2018 will be conducted through both offline & online mode. The detail of both offline & online application process is described below. Candidates should read the instructions carefully before you start filling up the online application form.
Online Application Process: Those candidates who have the facility of the internet can apply online. Such candidates should click on the following link to fill the application form.
Offline Application Process: Candidates from remote areas who do not have access to the internet may apply manually. They may send a request for an application form (without DD) along with a self-addressed stamped (Rs. 10) envelope (size 25cm x 17 cm) superscribed “GS-20.....” to the following address:

Candidates make sure that following things would be ready before filling the application form:
- A scanned image file (preferably a jpg file) of candidate’s passport size photograph. Applications with personal photos or edited photos that are uploaded will be rejected.
- The details of Demand Draft such as DD number, bank, etc. or details of Credit/ Debit Card for online payment of application fee.
- Academic details from class 10 onwards.

The completed application form should be sent along with DD and two passport size photographs (one pasted on the application and one stapled to it).

Payment of TIFR GS 2018 Application Fee
The application fee of GS 2018 can be paid through both online and offline mode. Online candidates can pay the fee by Net banking/Debit/Credit Card and offline candidates can pay the application fee through the Demand Draft.
Demand Draft: The DD should be drawn on State Bank of India in favour of National Centre for Biological Science payable at Bangalore. Candidates who wish to apply online and make payment by Demand Draft may send the Demand Draft with their name, reference code and telephone number written on it. Alternately, students can make online payment by Debit/Credit Card.
