About Punjab Technical University
The Punjab Technical University was established in the year 1997 to promote technical, management and pharmaceutical education in the state at degree level and above. The university has also bagged the much coveted Best Technical University award for the year 2013.

There shall be two rounds of centralised counselling by IK Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. The counselling schedule shall be as notified by IKGPTU and shall be available on its website. Thereafter, the direct admission at the level of university and constituent campuses shall be made for vacant seats.
