XAT Result 2018 has been declared now. The result has been declared at midnight. The students can check the result now and download the XAT score card It is the result of the MBA Entrance conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur.

• XAT result is in form of a scorecard and it contains the marks obtained by the students in the XAT Exam. This year XAT exam was conducted in online mode. XAT Score is valid for admission in multiple MBA Colleges in India and not just XLRI Jamshedpur. 
• In many MBA Colleges the application got over even before the result is declared as XLRI Jamshedpur, XIM Bhubaneswar, GIM Goa. In some of the colleges, the admission remains open after the result is declared.
• If you are in top 1% that is you score 99 percentile and above only then you will be eligible for admission in XLRI Jamshedpur. If you score 95 percentile or more then there are chances that you might get the top MBA college accepting admission based on XAT Score.

XAT Exam is conducted by XLRI, Xavier School of Management for management admissions across its member and associate colleges in MBA/PGPM courses. It is conducted every year for the selection of the meritorious candidates as per their scores in XAT Exam.

XAT Result 2018 has been declared on 11 February 2018 for the exam conducted on 7 January. The candidates those who had appeared in the exam can check XAT Result by following the given link. Alternately, XAT Score is also available on the official website of XAT i.e. www.xatonline.net.in. XAT Result gives an overview of the marks secured by candidates in each of the sections individually as well as the overall percentile scored by the candidate. Steps for Checking XAT Result

• STEP 1: Click on the link given above to check the XAT Result
• STEP 2: The candidates have to enter their Registration number and Password as the credentials to access the result page.
• STEP 3: Check the section wise scores and overall scores.
• STEP 4: Applicants can now download their score card soon after the announcement of the Result 

Note: Result will not be sent to any candidate individually and there is no provision for the rechecking of the result.

XAT Result is accepted for MBA Admission in these Colleges 

Many MBA Colleges now accept XAT Score for admission in MBA/ PGDM  Programme. Some institutes accept both CAT and XAT score and some accept only CAT or only XAT.

The candidates have to individually apply to these colleges, appearing in XAT is not a sufficient condition for getting admission in these MBA/ PGDM Colleges.

XLRI Selection Criteria after XAT Result

The candidates will not be evaluated based on their marks of Class 10,10+2 or Graduation. XLRI will contact the shortlisted candidates based on their XAT Exam Scores and their individual performances in Group discussion and Personal Interviews. 

Only those students who had applied to XLRI Jamshedpur are eligible for admission. The candidates who scored good marks in XAT Exam but did not apply are not eligible for admission.
