AIIMS MBBS Counselling 2018 - Online Counselling

AIIMS MBBS counselling was conducted in the online mode. After the seat is allocated to the students in the online MBBS counselling then the students have to report to the AIIMS Institute for document verification and deposit of fee. All the candidates who are allocated seats and who choose to Accept are required to report to allocated AIIMS within the date and time specified. The candidate will be required to deposit original certificates and a demand draft of Rs. 1 Lakh.

The list of documents to be submitted is mentioned on the AIIMS  MBBS seat allotment letter. Candidates are informed that for further rounds of counselling no individual counselling call letter is being sent to the candidates. The details of vacant seat position will be uploaded on the AIIMS Website.

Following are the list of documents to be carried along at the AIIMS MBBS 2018 counselling verification:

• AIIMS MBBS Admit Card 2018
• Call Letter Issued by AIIMS
• Date of Birth Proof(Indicating name and date of birth)
• Class 12  Mark sheet
• Migration Certificate of last attended board/College.
• Coloured passport size photographs (6 Copies)
• One attested copies of all the certificates
• Caste Certificate from the prescribed authority in the prescribed form

AIIMS MBBS Counselling Round 2 Result

The second round AIIMS MBBS seat allotment result has been announced on 16 July. A link to download the same is provided below. Candidates who have been included in the AIIMS MBBS 2018 counselling result must report at the allotted institute for document verification and other formalities. Aspirants who did not participate in the second round are not eligible for Round 3. However, they can appear for mop-up round AIIMS MBBS counselling.

AIIMS MBBS Counselling Round 1 Result

The result of AIIMS MBBS 2018 counselling round 1 has been released on 2 July. A link to download a rank-wise list of AIIMS MBBS seat allotment result 2018 is provided below. Aspirants who have been included in the AIIMS MBBS counselling result are required to report at the allotted institute for document verification and completion of admission procedure. AIIMS MBBS Counselling Seat Allotment Mock Round 1

AIIMS has released the mock seat allotment result on 28 June 2018. The allocation of AIIMS MBBS seats for the mock round is available only for those who were eligible for participating and who had registered for the AIIMS MBBS 2018 Online Seat Allocation/ Counselling for the Mock Round. The final AIIMS MBBS Seat Allotment result will be available on 2 July. The rank wise list of Allocated Seats (AIIMS) of the Mock Round is given below. In order to know their rank, the candidates need to search for their roll number.

Options the candidates will get after seat allocation

• Option 1 - ACCEPT allotted seat and DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE in further rounds of Seat Allocation
• Option 2 - ACCEPT allotted seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 2nd ROUND of Seat Allocation
• Option 3 - DECLINE/REFUSE allotted seat and DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE in 2nd ROUND of Seat Allocation

AIIMS MBBS Counselling 2018 - Round 2 Details

 AIIMS MBBS Round 1 Counselling dates announced. Round 2 counselling will be conducted in August 2018. The round of counselling will only be held if the seats are vacant in Round 1.

The AIIMS Counselling will separately be held on different dates for separate Rounds as mentioned above. The candidates will be called for the counselling process on the basis of merit list. Further rounds of counselling will only be held if the seats remain vacant. The counselling will be held in four rounds that are:

• First Round
• Second Round
• Third Round (If seats vacant)
• Open Round (If seats vacant)

The list of the shortlisted candidates will be made available on the website of AIIMS also. The email/ SMS Alert regarding the same will be sent to the candidates on their registered email/ mobile numbers. The candidates should know that no separate counselling letter will be issued by post.

AIIMS MBBS Counselling Process 

AIIMS MBBS Counselling 2018 will be conducted by AIIMS only. 

• Counselling process by AIIMS will be conducted on the merit basis.
• Firstly seats will be filled by the open category on merit-based irrespective whether they are SC/ST/OBC/OPH.
• Seats of the reserved category will be filled on the basis of merit only. Seats vacant in any category will be filled by the candidate of respective category only.
• It is mandatory for the candidate to be present personally for document verification at the respective AIIMS on the specified date.

Candidates who will be been allotted the seats at AIIMS Delhi will have to report for Medical, Academic and admission formalities. The candidates who are selected in AIMMS other than Delhi have to report at the respective help desk Centres at the venue of counselling i.e. Jawahar Lal Auditorium, AIIMS, New Delhi). The counselling venue may change

AIIMS MBBS Seat Matrix 2018

AIIMS MBBS Counselling Instructions for Reserved Category Students

Candidates availing constitutional reservation that is for SC, ST and OBC candidates have to show valid proof of their claim for a reserved seat at allocated AIIMS when they are depositing original certificates/Demand Draft of Rupees 1 Lakh. In case they do not possess a valid certificate then their claim for the reserved seat allocated in 1st Round will be nullified and they will be eligible to appear in the AIIMS MBBS 2nd Round counselling as an Unreserved (UR) candidate provided they deposit the required documents at the allocated AIIMS.

 AIIMS MBBS Open Round of Counselling will be held in Last week of September 2018. The venue of the counselling has not been notified yet.
