TNEA Application Form 2018 is for admission into Tamil Nadu Engineering Colleges. The application form is for admission in Anna University Counselling for admission in Engineering Colleges in Tamil Nadu. The TNEA application process for the admission in Anna University has started from the 3 May 2018. The candidates while filling the TNEA application form should furnish all the details correctly and it is the responsibility of the candidates to check that the details filled by them are right and correct in all the section of the form. If any candidates found furnishing wrong details, the university keeps the right to reject the forms.

Steps to fill Online TNEA Application Form

The steps to fill online application form are user registration, Application fee payment, personal details entry, academic details entry and application view and payment of application fee.

TNEA Application Fee

TNEA Application Fees are different for all the categories. The candidates belonging to the respective categories must pay their Application.The candidates can make the payment of the application fee through either online mode or by drawing demand draft.

Payment of TNEA Application Form Fee 2018

The TNEA Application fee should be paid through online only. There is no offline process for paying the application fee. Candidates can pay the application fee through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.

Submission of TNEA Application Form 2018

Candidates are advised to check the details of the application form before making the final submission as because the candidates need to know that once the application gets submitted, the candidates will not be able to change the details of the application form

Candidates have to submit the filled-in application online only.  After filling in the online registration of TNEA 2018 application form, candidates must take a print out of the same and take it to the TNEA Facilitation Centre for verification along with the original documents after payment of the application fee.

Original Document Verification at TNEA Facilitation Centres

Original as well Photocopies of the following documents should be brought to the TNEA facilitation centre at the scheduled date and time. While filling the TNEA 2018 application form the candidate can select their preferred choice of TFC for original certificate verification, The date and time for verification would be intimated through the registered mobile number and e-mail.

• Permanent Community Certificate Card for ST, SC, SCA, MBC & DNC, BC and BCM (Permanent card /electronic form/digitally signed e-Certificate)
• Transfer Certificate
• HSC / Equivalent Mark Sheet
• Class 10 Mark Sheet
• Nativity Certificate If applicable
• First Graduate Certificate and  First  Graduate  Joint   Declaration (only in electronic form/digitally signed e-Certificate) If applicable
• Srilankan Tamil Refugee certificate- If applicable
• Relevant certificates for Son / Daughter of Ex-Serviceman, Son / Daughter of Freedom Fighter, Differently Abled Person, and Eminent Sports Persons -If applicable.
• Candidates seeking admission under special reservation should also enclose a Special Reservation form for each special reservation category.

TNEA Application form 2018 for Sports Persons

Sports quota is to give weightage to the sports eminence of the candidates and hence marks for sports achievements alone will be considered in ranking the candidates.

Note: Additional Fee of Rs. 100 for candidates belonging to special Reservation category (such as Eminent Sports Person) will be charged along with the tnea application form 2018 fee.

Submission of TNEA application form for candidate's belonging to Sports quota: Online Applications for Eminent sports persons along with all enclosures and Sports related documents should be submitted in person at the Office of the Secretary (TNEA). To claim the quota seat, the candidate has to submit all the sports certificates along with participation certificates and relevant forms but only one highest achievement in a tournament (among the International, National, State, Divisional, and District) in a year in the sports disciplines (tabulated below) will be considered for awarding marks.
