CS Foundation Registration 2018 - Form, Fees, Last Date for June, Dec

CS Foundation Registrations 2018 - CS Foundation Registrations are open throughout the year. Examinations are held twice a year in the month of June & December. The registration for the June 2018 is open until 9 April 2018.  However, the registration for the December 2018 exam can be done until 31 March 2018. Company Secretaries is one of the famous course among the students who pass their Senior Secondary (10+2) examination of a Board/ University through Arts, Science or Commerce Stream (excluding Fine Arts). The candidates who are willing to pursue the CS Foundation Course can apply online by filling up an application form. CS Foundation programme is eight months duration programme. Latest Update- Candidates are informed that the last date of registration for June exam is extended from 25 March to 9 April 2018.

CS Foundation Programme Dates 2018

• The candidates who have passed senior secondary (10+2) examination in Arts, Science or Commerce stream (Excluding Fine Arts) are eligible to apply for the CS Foundation Course.
• The candidates who are currently enrolled for appearing in Senior Secondary (10+2) are also allowed to register for the CS Foundation course. Although, they have to provide the proof of passing the examination within 6 months of filling the CS Foundation application form.

Exemption from CS Foundation 

• The candidates possessing any qualification recognised by the Council of ICSI with the approval of Central Government as equivalent are exempted to pursue CS Foundation Course.
• All those candidates having a degree or master's degree in any discipline other than Fine Arts.

The candidates willing to pursue CS Foundation Course are suggested to fill the application form either through online or offline mode. In order to register for CS Foundation course, the candidates should ensure their eligibility criteria and make sure that they are eligible for the programme. The registration for the June 2018 Exam is open until 9 April 2018.  However, the registration for the December 2018 Exam can be done until 31 March 2018.

Steps to Fill the CS Foundation Online Application 2018

The steps to fill the application form either through online or offline modes are given on this page. The applicants filling up the application form are suggested to follow the steps and fill the form accordingly. The steps given below are of the online application form.

Registration for CS Foundation

• The applicant filling up the application form first need to register for the “CS Foundation Programme” by following the link provided above.
• By following the above link, the candidates will be redirected to the student registration where they have to click on "Proceed to Registration".

Filling up the CS Foundation Application Form

• The candidates after successfully registering for the CS Foundation course need to fill up the form by providing some basic details
• The candidates have to fill up the form by pertaining the following details:
  • Basic Details: In basic details, the applicants have to fill up the information concerning the name of the applicant, date of birth, address etc.
  • Education Details: In this section, the applicants have to provide the name of school/ college or university of passing the exam, year of passing the exam etc.
  • Fee & Document Details: The candidates after filling up the above details need to check the fee details and then have to upload the photograph and signature along with other documents.
  • Payment of the Application Form: At last, the candidates have to make the payment of the CS Foundation application form and note down the transaction id for future reference.

Submission of the Application Form

The applicants after furnishing all the details mentioned above have to submit the application form. The applicants should preview the application form and edit the same if needed. After submission of the application form, the application shall be reviewed and approved by the Institute.

Download ID Card/ Registration Letter for CS Foundation Programme 2018

The ICSI will release the ID Card and Registration Letter for the candidates whose application got approved. To download the CS Foundation ID Card/ Registration Letter, the applicants have to login into the Student Login where they will get an option to Download Registration Letter or Download ID Card

• Photograph of the candidate
• Signature of the candidate
• DOB Certificate (10th pass certificate)
• DOB Certificate or Class 10 Certificate for DOB proof
• Roll number of the examination (if appearing)
• Qualifying certificates/ Mark sheets of Class 12
• Category certificate (Other than General category)
• Identity proof (Adhar Card/ Passport/ Voter ID / Pan Card/ Driving License/ Ration Card)

The applicants filling the application form for CS Foundation course need to pay the examination fee in order to appear in the CS Foundation exam. The applicants also have to pay the course fee for CS Foundation. The amount of both the fee is given in the table below:

• The candidates who have applied for the admission into CS Foundation Programme need to appear into the examination scheduled to be conducted in the month of December 2018.
• The candidates would be considered passing the CS Foundation examination if he/ she secures 40% marks in each paper and 50% marks in the aggregate of all subjects.

The CS Foundation Examination would be conducted in English as well as in the Hindi language except for the Business Communication subject of Foundation Program. The marks distribution for each paper is given in the table below.
