• Post Basic Nursing program is 2 years full-time nursing course offered by Bhopal Memorial Hospital & Research Centre, Bhopal Nursing College which is Institute under the Department of Health Research (DHR), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoH&FW), Government of India.
• The candidates who are passed in 10+2 or an equivalent examination and have experience in working as a nurse (male/female) are eligible to apply for BMHRC Post Basic Nursing Admission 2018.

BMHRC Bhopal Post Basic Nursing Admission 2018 Dates

Academic Qualification: The candidates applying for BMHRC Post Basic Nursing Admission 2018 should fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

• The candidates should have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a government school which should be recognised by the University for this purpose. The candidates, who have done 10+1 in or before 1987, are eligible to apply for BMHRC Post Basic Nursing Admission 2018.
• The candidates should also have passed in a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and registered as R.N/R.M. with the State Nurses Registration Council.

Eligibility Criteria for Male Candidates: A male candidate must be trained as a nurse with State Nurses Registration Council. The male candidates have to produce evidence of training (approved by Indian Nursing Council) in lieu of midwifery in any one of the following areas:

• O.T. Techniques
• Ophthalmic Nursing
• TB Nursing
• Psychiatric Nursing
• Orthopaedic Nursing
• Leprosy Nursing
• Neurological and Neuro Surgical Nursing
• Community Health Nursing
• Cancer Nursing

• All the candidates should be medically fit.

• After downloading the prospectus and application form, the candidates have to read the prospectus carefully and fill the application form.
• To fill the application form, the candidates have to provide the information asked in the application form.
• The candidates have to pay the application fee only through demand draft which should be in favour of Director, Bhopal Memorial Hospital & Research Centre, payable at Bhopal. Cash transaction or online payment will not be entertained under any circumstances.
• Once the application fee paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
• Applicant must put his/her signature on the admit card and candidates attendance sheet just below the photograph on the space provided for signature and submit along with application form.

After filling the application form, the candidates have to send hard copy of filled application form along with Self attested copies of the certificates and requisite demand draft via post to the address given below:

BMHRC Post Basic Nursing Admit Card 2018

The candidates who will apply successfully for BMHRC Post Basic Nursing Admission 2018 and appearing in the entrance test can get their admit card on the day of entrance examination from Bhopal Nursing College,

• BMHRC will issue the admit card on producing a valid photo ID proof by the candidates in the exam hall. The candidates have to check your particulars in the Admit Card carefully. Any error should immediately be reported to the Principal of Bhopal Nursing College, BMHRC, Bhopal.
• Candidates have to bring valid Photo ID proof (Aadhar card/voter ID/Driving License/ PAN Card) at the time of entrance examination

The candidates selected for BMHRC Post Basic Nursing admission 2018 will have to pay the course fee as per the details are given in the table below:

Note: THe candidates also have to pay annual exam fee for theory paper and Clinical Practical & Viva of Rs 350 & Rs 100 respectively.

BMHRC Bhopal Hostel Fee

Residence in the hostel of the institute is compulsory for female candidates admitted to Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing programmes. There is no hostel facility for male students in BMHRC Bhopal.

• Admission will be made on the basis of performance of the candidates in the entrance test. The candidates who have successfully submitted the application form will have to appear in the entrance test. Based on the performance of the candidates in the entrance exam, the examination conducting body will display the result on its website.
• The candidates qualified in the entrance test will have to appear on the day of counselling and admission process. Admission counselling will be conducted in 2 separate stages and allocation of the seat will be on merit basis. An admission committee will conduct admission counselling process.
• During counselling process, document verification and allotment of seats will be carried out for all categories.
• If any information provided by the candidate found false, the admission will be cancelled at any stage without any further notice.
• The following factors will be considered at the time ofcounselling:
  • Past academic attainment in the Nursing examination ( GNM)
  • Experience as a Staff Nurse
  • Candidate older in age will be preferred

The candidates appearing in the entrance examination which is likely to be held in September 4th week 2018 will have to follow the exam pattern given below:

• Duration of Exam: 2 Hours
• Total Number of Questions: 100
• Total Marks: 100
• Language of Question Paper: English
• Mode of Exam: Pen & Paper based
• Blue/black pen will have to be used for writing/making responses
• Marking Scheme: 1 Marks for each Correct Answer, there is no Negative Marking.
