TANUVAS Admission 2019 in 5½ Years BVSc & AH, 4 years B Tech (Food Technology), 4 years B Tech (Poultry Technology) and 4 years B Tech (Dairy Technology) programs offered at Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS). Revised Provisional Rank List for TANUVAS 2019 has been released online. Tamil Nadu students who have passed in their qualifying exam can submit the application form only through online mode. The candidates will be selected for TANUVAS Admission 2019 in their desired programs on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying exam.

TANUVAS Admission 2019 Dates

 TANUVAS Courses 

To be eligible to apply for TANUVAS Admission 2019, the candidates should fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

• The candidates should be a Native of Tamil Nadu. However, the candidates passed in the qualifying examination from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu will have to enclose Nativity Certificate.
• Candidates who have passed VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu need not enclose Nativity Certificate. 
• The candidates should be passed in class 12 or equivalent examination from Tamil Nadu state board or from the CBSE with minimum 70 % (65% for BC/BCM and 60% for MBC / DNC) marks in aggregate. The candidates belonging to SC / SCA / ST should be just passed the qualifying exam.
• Age Limit: The candidates should be aged maximum 21 years old on 1 July 2019 and the candidates belong to SC, SCA or ST caste has no age limitation.
  • Minimum age limit for all communities is 17 years as on 31 December 2019

• Candidate’s Photo (soft copy in png, jpg, jpeg format)
• Candidate’s signature (scanned copy in png, jpg, jpeg format)
• Parent / Guardian’s signature (scanned copy in png, jpg, jpeg format)
• Relevant certificate(s), if applicable, given in Annexure I, Annexure-II, Annexure III, Annexure IV, Annexure V, Annexure VI a, Annexure VI b of the prospectus should be downloaded, filled and get them signed by the competent authority as mentioned in the prospectus.

Submission of TANUVAS Application Form

Downloaded online filled application along with relevant certificates/documents should reach "The Chairman, Admission Committee (UG), Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Madhavaram Milk Colony, Chennai-600 051", on or before the due date.

TANUVAS Application Fee

The detailed course fee for the BVSc & AH and BTech Courses provided by TANUVAS are given below, The candidates have to pay the required fee at the time of the admission. Failing to pay the fees and submit all the original certificates within the prescribed time will lead to the forfeiture of the seat offered.

• The candidates applied for TANUVAS Admission 2019 will be selected for admission in their desired program strictly on the basis of their performance in the qualifying examination and community reservation policy of the state.
• The conducting body will prepare a rank list for admission to BVSc & AH, B Tech (Food Technology), B Tech (Poultry Technology) and B Tech (Dairy Technology) programs and will publish it on their official website.
• Selection for admission in each program will be done through the counselling process. The exact date of the counselling process will be intimated to the candidates selected for counselling.
• The candidates who have been called for the counselling will be selected on the basis of the aggregate (cut off) marks obtained by them (as mentioned in the Prospectus) and also on the basis of the vacancy position available at the constituent colleges of the University following the community reservation rules of Tamil Nadu Government.
