CG PET 2018 is a state level engineering entrance exam conducted by Chhattisgarh Government, for admission in Engineering colleges across the state. For the year 2018-19, the state level Engineering Seats will be filled on the basis of CG PET 2018 and JEE Main 2018 (For Students from the Other States). B.Tech Biotechnology- 2/3rd of the total seats will be filled on the basis of CG PET and remaining one-third seats will be filled on the basis of CCPHT. Through CG PET 2018 candidates can apply for Admission to the following colleges:

The students who want to apply for appearing in the CG PET 2018 have to follow the following eligibility criteria:
Age: Candidate should have attained a minimum of 17 year and maximum 30 years of age before 31 Dec 2018.
Domicile: Candidate must be a permanent resident of Chhattisgarh. Candidate must have a domicile or any other document to proof their residency.
Academic Eligibility: The candidates must have passed or is appearing 10+2 with Physics, Maths and Chemistry/Biology/Bio-Technology. They must have secured an aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST).

To appear in the CG PET entrance examination, first, the candidates have to register themselves and CG PET application form will be available on the official website of Chattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB). To apply for CG PET 2018 candidate has to follow the steps given below:

STEP 2: Fill in the detailed Application form website
STEP 3: Pay the Application Fee: Candidates can pay the application fee either through online or offline mode.
Please note that candidate has to carry a copy of CG PET application form to CG PET Examination Hall.
The candidates want to appear in the CG PET entrance examination can submit the application form only through online mode on the official website of CPEB. The candidate need not send the printout of the application form. However, the candidate has to take a printout of the CG PET application form for future reference.
CG PET Admit Card 2018 is released by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board. Candidates who have submitted their duly filled application form along with the application fee can download CG PET Admit Card 2018 from the link given below.
The candidates have to make payment of the application fee as under:

CG PET Result 2018 will be declared tentatively in the month of May 2018. Click here for CG PET Result 2018. The candidates will be selected for state-level Engineering seats on the basis of CG PET 2018 entrance examination and JEE Main 2018. The candidates who wish to get admission in B.Tech Biotechnology- 2/3rd of the total seats on the basis of CG PET and remaining one-third seats will be filled on the basis of CCPHT. CG PET Counselling for the allotment of seats will be held in June -July 2018.

CG PET 2018 question paper will contain 150 objective type questions, each question will be of one mark each. The exam pattern will be following:

Candidate can see the last year syllabus and starts their preparation. If there are any changes in syllabus, it would be updated once information is available.
