About CET Delhi

CET Delhi 2018 Polytechnic Entrance Exam results were declared today on 14 June 2018. Candidates can check their results on the official website of CET Delhi. The CET Polytechnic Entrance exams were conducted by Pusa Institute of Technology this year. The results won't be dispatched to the student in physical form and can be checked online only. The candidate can check the CET Delhi Result by clicking on the “CET-Result 2018” link where he has to enter his CET Roll Number, Application Number and security pin to see the result. The Counselling schedule with tentative dates has been released for CET Delhi 2018. Candidates can register online for counselling from the official website CET Delhi. A reasonable fee of Rs. 718 will be charged from the candidate for counselling and it shall last for four rounds that will commence from 15 June 2018 and will continue till the month of July 2018.

The Result for CET Delhi 2018 has been declared on 14 June 2018. It is to be kept in mind that the scorecards of the candidates will not be dispatched. Candidates can check their results by following the steps mentioned below-

CET Delhi Eligibility criteria

The eligibillity criteria to appear in CET Delhi for different tests is given on this page. The candidates are suggested to go through the eligibility criteria and ensure whether they are eligible to appear in test or not.

Eligibility Criteria

Test 1

  • Candidate should have passed Class 10 of 10+2 System or Matric or
    any other examination recognised as equivalent to Class 10 exam, conducted by CBSE.
  • Candidate should have scored minimum 35% aggregate in Science, Mathematics & English The subjects Science, Mathematics and English
    are compulsory, and the candidate should have passed in each of
    these three subjects without considering grace marks.

Test 2

  • Candidate should have passed Class 12 of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi in any stream of 10+2 (Academic)
    or any other examination recognised as equivalent to the Senior Secondary School Certificate with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST)
    in the aggregate of best three subjects including English
  • The subject English is compulsory for Modern Office Practice (English), and the candidate should have obtained pass marks in this subject
    without considering grace marks.

Test 3

  • Candidate should have passed Class 12 of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi in any stream of 10+2 (Academic)
    or any other examination recognised as equivalent to the Senior Secondary School Certificate with minimum 45% marks
    (40% for SC/ST) in the aggregate of best three subjects including Hindi
  • The subject Hindi is compulsory for Modern Office Practice (Hindi), and the candidate should have obtained pass marks in this subject without considering grace marks.

Test 4

  • The candidates must have passed Class 12 examination with Physics and Chemistry as a compulsory subject along with one of the Mathematics/ Biology (Botany and Zoology)
  • The subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and either Mathematics or Biology are compulsory, and the candidate should have pass marks in these subjects without considering grace marks.

Test 5

  • Candidate should have passed analogous 12th Vocational (Engg)
    a stream of CBSE or equivalent from Schools located only in Delhi with minimum 60% marks in aggregate of best five subjects for which marks
    are reflected in the mark sheet, without considering grace marks
    in these best five subjects. OR
  • Passed 10th class of CBSE or equivalent 2years ITI (Engg) from ITIs/ITCs. The ITIs/ ITCs must be from Institutes located only in Delhi and affiliated to DGE&T/BTE, Delhi with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate of all subjects reflected in the mark sheet.

 

  • NOTE: Candidates who were earlier expelled or rusticated from any of the Institutes of Technology Polytechnics / Institutes, are not eligible for fresh admission.

CET Delhi Application form and Admit Card

Eligible candidates can apply through Online Mode only. The candidates can apply for the CET Delhi Entrance Test in online mode only by following the link given below. The last date to fill the application form was  19 April 2018. The application process is closed.

Steps to Apply Online for CET Delhi Admission 2018

  • STEP 1: Candidates have to click on the "Apply Online for  Common Entrance Test" after which candidates will have to choose from any of the Test of your choice.
  • STEP 2: And the CET Delhi Application Form will appear on the screen where the candidates have to fill the required application form with details like personal, academic and educational details.
  • STEP 3: After selecting the desired test and filling the application form, candidates have to register themselves with their Name and Email ID and a password.
  • STEP 4: After choosing the login ID and Password and filling the complete application form, candidates have to upload their 3 documents listed below in exact format and size.

  • STEP 5: Now candidates have to pay the application form fee for the CET Delhi Application Form. Application Number will be generated at the time of payment of the application form and it must be noted down for the future purposes.
  • STEP 6: After the successful payment of the application form candidates are advised to take the printout of the final confirmation page for the future references.

Payment Procedure for CET Application Fee

Candidates can pay the Application fee via any one of the two modes mentioned below:

  • Mode 1: Online: The fee may be submitted either by any credit/debit card/ net banking.
  • Mode 2: Offline: The fee may be submitted by challan in any branch of Corporation bank in India. If this mode is selected, candidates have to visit the nearby Corporation bank branch after 24 hours of generation of challan and the fees status updated within 48 hours of submission of fees.

CET Delhi Admit Card 2018 for Delhi Polytechnic Entrance is available from 17 May 2018. The exact information pertaining to the issue of admit card shall be displayed on the website https://www.cetdelhiexam.nic.in. The candidates need to Login with their ID and Password to download the CET Admit Card.

CET Delhi Result and Counselling

CET Delhi Counselling 2018

CET Delhi Counselling: All admissions shall be made on the basis of the inter-se merit ranking in the test concerned and fulfilment of minimum eligibility conditions prescribed for each test. The merit list of the candidates will be prepared on the basis of the scores obtained by the candidates in the Common Entrance Test.

The online choice filling for the first round of counselling will start from 15 June 2018. The counselling process will go until June, July and August. CET Delhi Exam and counselling will be conducted within the Delhi only.  Candidates have to pay Rs 700  + Rs.15 (Bank Charges) + Rs.3 (GST) for the counselling registration using online method of payment or Payment by e-challan

Documents Required for CET Delhi Counselling 2018

  1. Institutional annual fees as applicable in form of Demand Draft, in favour of “DKDF”, payable at Delhi. Part payment or payment through cheque/cash will not be accepted under any circumstances.
  2. Bank Receipt for deposit of onetime non- refundable Processing fees.
  3. Copy of Provisional Allotment letter
  4. Copy of Online Registration Slip.
  5. Copy of choices submitted by Candidate.
  6. Two latest identical Color Photographs of 7.62 cm x 10.16 cm size same as that pasted on the admit card.
  7. Admit Card of CET –2016 (Original).
  8. Proof of date of birth (Secondary School Certificate) (Original and one attested Photocopy)
  9. Certificate and Mark Sheet of the qualifying examination issued by the Board/University (Original and One Photocopy). In case the original certificate is not awarded at the level of the School, Provisional Certificate may be considered.
  10. SC / ST / / Person with Disabilities (Physically Handicapped)* (Annexure-IV) /OBC (Annexure-V)/ Defence Category(Annexure – VI) / Kashmiri Migrants (Annexure – VIII) / (TFW Annexure IX) / Minority Status Certificate(s) whichever applicable, on the basis of which reservation is claimed (Original and one attested Photocopy).   11. Conduct and Character Certificate from the Head of the Institution from where the qualifying examination has been passed/or from a gazetted officer (Original and one attested Photocopy).
  12. Certificate of Medical Fitness to be signed by a Registered Medical Practitioner in the format as given in Annexure - III in the Information Bulletin (Original).
  13. Affidavit regarding the prohibition of ragging (Annexure VII) All the candidates seeking admission under Person with Disabilities (Physically Handicapped) quota are required to bring a certificate from Vocational Rehabilitation Centre for handicapped, 9-11 Vikas Marg, Karkardooma, Delhi-92, as to whether he/she is fit to undergo the course applied for. No other certificate in this regard shall be entertained.

CET Delhi Merit List 2018

  • Based on the marks obtained in the entrance test CET 2018 will prepare a list of candidates in order of merit in each category, for each test
  • For being eligible for admission, a general candidate must secure a minimum of 10% marks, and reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/PH) must secure minimum of 5% marks in CET 2018

CET Delhi Exam pattern

  • Mode of Exam: Pen and Paper Based; Candidates have to make the answer on the OMR answer sheet with black ball pen only
  • No. of Questions: 150 Objective Type Questions
  • In Pharmacy, there will be total 210 questions, out of which the students have to attempt 150 questions by taking 60 questions either from Mathematics or from Biology.
  • Marking Scheme: Each question shall carry four (04) marks
  • Negative Marking: One (01) mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer
  • Duration of Exam: two hours and thirty minutes
  • Total Marks:  600 Marks
