JEECUP 2018 - UP Polytechnic Entrance Exam

JEECUP 2018 is the UP Polytechnic Entrance Exam for admission into Diploma in Engineering / Management in state polytechnics. Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh is the official conducting body of JEECUP 2018. JEECUP 2018 is scheduled to be held on 22 April 2018 by Joint Entrance Examination Council of Uttar Pradesh in pen and paper mode. 

JEECUP is conducted for the admission to various diploma courses in colleges which are recognised by the Uttar Pradesh Technical Educational Board. Diploma courses in engineering and management admission in UP Polytechnics will be done on the basis of JEECUP 2018 result and merit list. Joint Entrance Examination (JEECUP 2018) shall be conducted in two shifts i.e. - 

• Morning shift timing: 09:00 am to 12:00 pm Group A - (Engineering/Technology Diploma Courses)
• Evening shift timing: 02:30 - 5:30 pm Group B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I and K1 to K7 - (Other Courses).

Age Limit: There is no upper age bar but candidate must be minimum 14 years old on 1 July 2018 for taking Admission into the below-listed courses.

The academic qualification is different depends upon the courses. The subject wise question percentage is given below apply to the group mentioned for each. Hence, the candidates are suggested to ensure their eligibility by going through the table below.

Academic Qualification for JEECUP 2018

Non Eligibility: The candidates who think that the result of the qualifying examination would be declared after 15 June 2018 are advised not to attempt the examination.

NOTE:

• The UPJEE do neither verify the information filled by the candidates in the application form nor verify any certificate of category for deciding the eligibility of the candidates.
• All these things would be verified by the concerned institution. The candidates are, therefore, advised to ensure their eligibility, category and subcategory.
• JEEC will not be responsible for any wrong/ incorrect information furnished by the candidates in their online application form

JEECUP Application Form 2018 can only be filled ONLINE by the interested candidates. There is no offline or printed JEECUP Application Form. Application fee can be paid either by using Net Banking or Debit Card/ Credit Card or through e-challan.

Application Submission

JEECUP 2018 Application Form must only be submitted online. The candidates are not required to send their application form to UPJEE (Polytechnic) council. However, the candidates are advised to take a printout of the confirmation page with a generated application number.

How to pay the JEECUP Application Fee

Candidates can Pay Application Fee through the Following Method via any branch of State Bank of India (SBI)-

• E-Challan Form
• Net Banking
• Debit Card/ Credit Card

The application fee for the JEECUP 2018 is different for the General & OBC and for SC/ST category. The candidates are suggested to make the payment of the application fee as per their category. The payment of the fee can be done by Credit/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.

JEECUP 2018 result and merit list will act as a basis for admission in Diploma courses in engineering and management in UP Polytechnics. JEECUP Result 2018 has been declared on 28 May 2018.

The candidates will have to follow the exam pattern given below:

• Mode of Exam: Pen and Paper based 
• Duration: 3 Hrs
• Marking Scheme: 4 marks for each question.
• Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect answer.
• Total Questions: 100 Questions
