Pandit Deen Dayal Petroleum University is a Private University located in the Indian state of Gujarat and was established in the year 2007. Pandit Deen Dayal Petroleum University is recognised by University Grants Commission and is a member of Association of Indian Universities. PDPU Admission in B.Tech will be based on JEE Main 2018 Score.
For B.Tech Admission 2018: Candidates should have passed class 12 or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.
Candidates should have secured minimum 45% marks in aggregate in theory and practical in all the above-mentioned subjects. (40% in case of SC/ST)
Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in 2018 are also eligible to apply for consideration of provisional admission
JEE Main 2018: Candidates must have appeared in JEE Main Paper 1 conducted by JEE Apex Board (JAB) New Delhi.
For NRI Candidates
The candidates must have passed the qualifying examination abroad and are not required to appear in JEE Main 2018.
The candidates will have to produce equivalence certificate of qualifying examination from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi in case Letter Grade / Performance Index or Graded Point Average is awarded instead of percentage marks in qualifying examination, equivalence certificate is required from the school authority.
For NRI Sponsored Candidates
Candidates who will appear in JEE Main conducted in 2018 are eligible to apply.
A candidate should have passed the Qualifying Examination with minimum 45% marks in aggregate in theory and practical of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
For the purpose of admission to All India Seats, candidates have to apply online on the official website for the registration of their candidature by 8 June 2018. For the Purpose of NRI admission, they need to apply separately for the Application Process on the Official website of PDPU by 8 June 2018.
The candidates will have to fill the common PDPU application form for all B. Tech. programs (Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Computer Engineering and Information & Communication Technology.)
Candidates can fill the PDPU Application form Online through Internet from any place of convenience.
The candidates have to fill in all the details as per their eligibility while filling the PDPU 2018 application form Online. Once PDPU 2018 online application form is successfully submitted, candidates will receive an email with a username and password. By using the Username and password candidates have to fill in their JEE Main 2018 Marks and JEE Main 2018 All India Overall Rank and Class 12 Result.
Candidates have to fill in the personal information, family details, some details from your JEE Main 2018 admit card, JEE Main subject scores, and academic details too.

Application Fee Payment: Candidates have to pay the application Fee using credit/debit card, JioMoney or internet banking facility provided by their bank.

The candidates can submit the PDPU application form only through online mode on the official website of PDPU. The candidates have to apply online and they are not required to send any hard copy of Confirmation Page or any other document to Pandit Deen Dayal Petroleum University.

PDPU Mess Charges (Annual)
In PDPU, currently the annual mess charges are as follows:
Payable 41,500: For Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks as per canteen schedule.
Payable 27,500: for breakfast, lunch, and snacks as per the canteen schedule, for day-scholar (Monday to Friday).
PDPU Full Tuition Waiver Scholarship
Few of the selected candidates will be eligible for the tuition fee waiver scholarship based on their merit. Candidates who have been admitted to the PDPU will be applicable to apply for the scholarship schemes given below in the table. The continuation of the scholarship will be based on the marks obtained by the enrolled candidates in the subsequent semesters. Candidates must have minimum 8 SPI in First Semester followed by SPI of 8.5 in subsequent semesters.
Eligibility for B.Tech Scholarship at PDPU
To become eligible for the continuance of the fellowship in the following years, the candidates should:
Have earned Minimum SPI of 8 in the 1st Semester and also of 8.5 in every subsequent semester
Have passed every semester examination at the first attempt besides regular attendance, disciplined and exemplary behaviour and compliance with all other norms.
PDPU Admission Result and Counselling
B. Tech Admission Committee (BAC) of PDPU will prepare a merit list of the eligible candidates and will be published on the official website. Candidates will have to check their inter-se merit number.
PDPU B.Tech Admission Merit List will be prepared on the basis of percentile score obtained in JEE (Main) 2018 examination.
In case the percentile score is not available, then admission shall be based on the basis of marks obtained in JEE (Main) 2018 examination.

The shortlisted candidates will be called for On-Campus counselling program on the basis of the Merit.
Candidates called for counselling are required to appear in person and have to register at least one hour before the prescribed schedule at the registration desk of B. Tech. Admission 2018.
In case the candidate fails to appear for the counselling, then the guardian may remain present on the candidate’s behalf with a request-cum-authority letter from the candidate with all the required original document.
Allotment of Seats: Seats will be allotted on the basis of merit, the category of the candidate and availability.

Any other certificate of relevance to establishing the testimony of the candidate.
For NRI Sponsored Candidates: Other than above-described documents NRI Sponsored candidates have to bring the following documents.
Proof of Residence of NRI Sponsorer.
A copy of the passport of NRI Sponsorer.
Certificate of NRI from Embassy of India/ PIO card/OCI card
Affidavit of NRI Sponsorer in the format available on the official website on Rs 100 Judicial Stamp paper.
If affidavit procedure is being carried out in India by NRI Sponsorer, in that case, proof of his/her presence in India at the time of affidavit must be enclosed which may be in the form of a photocopy of those pages of passport having immigration stamp.
All India Seats ( 35%) - Out of the total seats, 35% percent seats shall be reserved for the candidates who have passed the Qualifying Examination from the schools located in India and have appeared in JEE Main 2018
NRI/ NRI Sponsored Seats (15 %)- 15 % of the total seats to be filled by the NRI/ NRI Sponsored candidates. First preference will be given to NRI Candidates for the admission process.
Gujarat Seats (50%) - 50% percent seats shall be reserved for the students of Gujarat and the candidate has to apply at ACPC.
