Mahindra Ecole Centrale (MEC) is a private engineering college located in Hyderabad, Telangana that offers an interdisciplinary programme in engineering education and is approved by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. The renowned Mahindra Group offers the B.Tech program in collaboration with Ecole Centrale Paris which is a nearly 200-year-old French Engineering College. Mahindra École Centrale College of Engineering offers a full-time, four-year engineering course leading to a B.Tech Degree. The proposed intake for B.Tech for Indian students is 240  and 36 additional seats are for NRI / PIO students.

Academic Requirements:

• Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from any recognised Board with 60% aggregate marks in all subjects or equivalent grade for the students from IB or other approved Board.
• Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in 2018 are also eligible to apply for consideration of provisional admission.
• Candidate must have qualified JEE Main 2018 Exam with a rank up to 2,20,000 i.e. eligible to write the JEE Advanced 2018 exam.
• Candidate should have a minimum 1800 score in SAT Subject test Score which should include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry.

Payment of Mahindra Ecole Centrale Application Form

The Registration and processing fee of Rs. 1000 and for PIO/NRI $50 can be paid via any one of the four modes. The candidates need to pay the application fee by any of the four methods given below:

Payment through Cash

• Candidates can pay the Application Fee in cash at any bank in their city/country. They have to upload the Acknowledgement copies of cash receipt issued by the bank on the Application Portal.

Payment through Demand Draft: The candidates can pay the Application Fee in the form of Demand Draft drawn from any scheduled bank in favour of “Mahindra Ecole Centrale” payable at Hyderabad, India.

• Candidates have to fill in the DD Details in the DD payment option in the Application Portal.

Payment through Credit Card: Candidates can directly pay the Registration cum Application Fee through either Master or Visa card online

Payment through Net Banking: Candidates also have the option to transfer the Registration fees to Mahindra École Centrale account using Net Banking option too after the registration.

Submission of Application Form

The candidates are advised to fill the required details in every section of the form and to check the details of the application form before the final submission because once the application gets submitted then the candidates will not be able to do any changes.

Candidates should keep at least two printouts of the application form with them for future reference. The candidates should know that the application fee would only be paid once by any of the method mentioned above.

Mahindra Ecole Centrale B.Tech Fee Structure

Mahindra Ecole Centrale Fee Structure is Rs. 4 Lakhs per year. Hostel Facility on campus would cost around Rs 1,50,000. The amount is just double to what IITs charge but less than some other Indian private colleges. The fees can be paid maximum in two instalments.

Mahindra Ecole merit list will be available on the website only for 30 days. The candidates will be able to check their merit list on this page. The merit list will be updated on this page right after the result.

Mahindra Ecole Centrale Selection Process

The selection of the candidates will be done in two stages the merit list which will be prepared on the basis of JEE Main Result and the candidates who get shortlisted on the basis of the result will be called for the counselling process.

Stage 1 (Merit List Preparation): For the admission in Mahindra Ecole Centrale, the merit list will be prepared on the basis of JEE Result 2018 and the candidates who get shortlisted will be further called for the counselling process.

Stage 2 (Counselling Process): The candidates have to carry the acknowledgement with the Photo ID Proof to the college.  At the time of the counselling and branch allotment, it is mandatory to produce photo identity. The Photo identity may be one of the following:

• Credit Card with photograph
• Voter ID Card

The Mahindra Ecole Centrale also offers the scholarships to the meritorious candidates. The scholarship would be given to the top rankers in each branch. The detailed information of the same is given below.

Mahindra Ecole Centrale Scholarship

Mahindra Ecole Centrale also offers the scholarship to the meritorious candidates. The scholarship will be equally distributed to the four branches, namely 12 per branch of which 11 will be based on JEE score, and one will be based on SAT score. The amount of scholarship which would be given to the candidates will be Rs. 1,00,000 per year.

Top 12 rankers in each branch will be entitled to the scholarship year on year when they are promoted to the next year. The students of batch 2015-16 and 2016-17 have already been offered the scholarship (as per previous policy). They will also be measured purely based on merit from 2017-18 onwards.
