UPSTSE Result for both the test exam of class 10 & 12 is available online on the official website of UPSTSE from 21 June 2017 at 10:00 PM. The candidates who appeared in the UPSTSE which were held on 30 and 31 May 2017 for both class 10 & 12 can check the result and see the merit list as given below.
The score card will be available after some time of declaration of the UPSTSE Result. On the basis of UPSTSE Result & Scorecard, the UPSTSE will prepare a merit list, and they will select top 1000 candidates from the merit list for top prize and scholarship. The score card will be available only for those candidates whose marks are equal to or above the qualifying marks in that paper. The selected candidates can download their score card from 21 June 2017.
- UPSTSE Result will be based on the revised answer key.

The candidates who appeared in the scholarship exam held on 30 and 31 May 2017 can check and download their UPSTSE Result & Scorecard by following the easy steps given below, The result for the Scholarship will be announced officially on the UPSTSE Website. The applicants can check and download their result and Scorecards from the link given below.

- First, the candidates have to visit the official website of UPSTSE and have to click the link for login.
- Now the candidates have to log in by entering their username & password which was generated while filling the UPSTSE application form online.
- After login, the candidates will see the result of both the examination of class 10 & 12. The candidates have to check the result for which they have taken the test.
- The candidates who have got good marks in the test can be shortlisted for merit list, and they can download their score on the same portal by following the same steps given above. The selected candidates should print out their score card for future use.
UPSTSE Scorecard 2016-17 Download
After the declaration of the results, candidates can download their UPSTSE Score Card for the paper (for which he/she has taken the examination). Downloadable score cards will be available to only those candidates whose marks are equal to or above the qualifying marks in that paper. The UPSTSE score cards can be downloaded by the candidates by visiting the UPSTSE website using their same login ID and password.
UPSTSE 2016-17 Scores Normalisation Pattern
There is a suitable normalisation pattern which is applied to the exam scores for its consideration variation in the difficulty levels of the question papers across different sessions. The normalisation is done based on the fundamental assumption that "in all multi-session UPSTSE papers, the distribution of abilities of candidates is the same across all the sessions". This assumption is justified since the number of candidates appearing in multi-session papers in UPSTSE is large and the procedure of allocation of the session to candidates is random. Further, it is also ensured that for the same multi-session paper, the number of candidates allotted in each session is of the same order of magnitude.
Based on the above, and considering various normalisation methods, the committee arrived at the following formula for calculating the normalised marks, for class 10 and class 12 level papers of UPSTSE. After the evaluation of the answers, normalised marks based on the above formula will be calculated corresponding to the raw marks obtained by a candidate and the UPSTSE Score will be calculated based on the normalised marks.

UPSTSE Question Paper and Answer Key
