NTSE Odisha 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Given below is the NTSE Odisha Eligibility criteria that candidates have to fulfil to be eligible to sit in the Odisha NTSE exam.
- Candidates must be a class 10 student in the academic session of 2019-20 in any of the recognized schools in Odisha
- Candidates must have cleared class 9 with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PH categories).
- If a candidate is doing class 10 through Open Distance Learning, he/she is required to be of age lesser than 18 years and should also be unemployed. Along with that, he/she should be appearing for the first time in the class 10 examination.

NTSE Odisha 2019 Registration Documents required

NTSE Odisha Exam Pattern
The State Level NTSE, 2019-20 consists of Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). The distribution of marks and duration (time) shall be as follows

NTSE Mental Ability Test (MAT) consists of 100 multiple choice items on reasoning and critical thinking to be answered in 120 minutes. The questions may be on analogy, classification, numerical series, pattern perception, hidden figures etc.
NTSE Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) consists of 100 multiple choice items from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, History, Geography, Political Science and Economics to be answered in 120 minutes.
The students who secure 40%(32% for SC/ST/PH) in each paper, i.e. MAT and SAT will only be eligible for making to NTSE Merit list.
