IPU Offline Counselling 2018 will be started for various courses in the month of June 2018. Offline counselling means that the student has to come to the counselling centre for allotment of the seat. The list of courses that would be accepting admission based on offline counselling is given below. The venue for the offline Counselling for all courses will be notified in the counselling schedule on the University’s website. Candidates are now able to check the venue with the display of the first counselling schedule, which is given here. IPU Offline counselling which was earlier scheduled to be held on 15 and 16 June 2018 will now tentatively be held on 19 and 20 June 2018. This is done on account of the holiday (Idu'l Fitr). The subjects whose counselling dates have been rescheduled are MA (Mass Communication), MA (English), MBA (IT), M.Tech (Tool Engineering).

Documents Required for Verification and Allotment of Seats
These documents will be required at the time of offline counselling. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the counselling, without these documents.
- Original Admit Card
- Four Password sized Photograph ( Same as that pasted in Admit Card)
- Copy of Admission Verification Form
- Proof of Date of Birth (Original and Photocopy)
- Mark-Sheet and Passing Certificate of Qualifying Examinations (Class 10th, Class 12th, All Years/Semesters of Graduation)
- Physical Fitness Certificate
- Code of Conduct Certificate (Either from the Head of the qualifying institution or from Gazetted Officer)
- Caste Certificate
- Bank draft of the Fee that is payable in favour of Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, payable at Delhi
Process for Withdrawal of Admission
Withdrawal of Admission can be done by submitting a letter in prescribed format of GGSIPU Copy of the same letter should also be submitted in the Admissions Branch, Administrative Block, GGSIPU (Main Campus). Refund Application has to be submitted along with the withdrawal policy and refund will be made by University as per the University Refund rules
- 100% fee would be refunded if the application of withdrawal is submitted fifteen days before the formally notified date of admission
- 80% fee would be refunded if the application of withdrawal is submitted after not more than fifteen after the formally notified date of admission
- 50% fee would be refunded if the application of withdrawal is submitted after more than fifteen days but less than 30 days of the formally notified date of admission
No fee would be refunded if the application of withdrawal is submitted after 30 days of the notified date of admission.
