• Annual Family Income: For SC students, family Income should not exceed Rs. 2.5 Lakh. For OBC students, family income should not exceed 1 lakh.
• Students pursuing Post Graduate courses in medicine will be eligible if they are not allowed to practice during the period of their course
• Distance Learning Students - Students pursuing their studies through correspondence or distant courses are also eligible. 
• Students who get this scholarship scheme will not hold any other scholarship/stipend.

Ashirwad Scholarship Amount

Ashirwad Scholarship amount will cover the following expenses for the complete duration of the course:

• Maintenance allowance
• Reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees
• Study tour charges
• Thesis typing/printing charges for Research Scholars
• Book allowance for students pursuing correspondence courses, 
• Book bank facility for specified courses, 
• Additional allowance for students with disabilities, for the complete duration of the course

Ashirwad Scholarship Distribution to SC Students

Under Ashirwad Scholarship, scholars will be paid enrolment/registration, tuition, games, Union, Library, Magazine, Medical Examination and such other fees which are compulsorily payable by the scholar to the institution or University/Board. The scholarship will not include Refundable deposits like caution money, security deposit will etc. Along with Fees, the scholarship will provide allowance for the following:

• Thesis Typing/Printing Charges upto Rs. 1600 will be paid to research scholars on the recommendation of the Head. 
• Study tour charges upto a maximum of Rs.1600 per annum will be paid to the scholars studying professional and technical courses.

Ashirwad Scholarship Distribution to OBC Students

• Thesis Typing/Printing Charges upto Rs.1000 will be paid to research scholars on the recommendation of the Head. 
• Study tour charges upto a maximum of Rs.1000 per annum will be paid to the scholars studying professional and technical courses.

How to Renew Ashirwad Scholarship Punjab?

Already registered candidates, who are being facilitated through Ashirwad scholarship scheme must renew their scholarship every year. For renewal of Aashirwad scholarship, such candidates should have to fill the application form. The application procedure for renewal of Aashirwad scholarship scheme is similar to new registration which includes Ashirwad scholarship registration, login, filling the application form and uploading documents.
