PMSSS JK Scholarship Counselling 2021-22: Merit List Released, Seat Allotment Round 1

PMSSS JK Scholarship Counselling for the students of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has started for admission in the colleges outside Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. Only those students will be eligible for counselling who have successfully registered for the scholarship and also have got their documents verified.  AICTE has released the PMSSS merit list for J&K Students 2021-22 based on the applications received. AICTE JK Scholarship Final Merit List has been announced, students can download the list. The board has also released the Mock (Dummy) Allotment trial of College and Course based on the applications received.

PMSSS Final Merit List has been released and the link to download PMSSS Merit List is given on this page. All those students whose names appear on the merit list will qualify for the scholarship. The candidates should go through the PMSSS merit list and make sure that their Class 12 marks entered in the merit list are correct.

PMSSS Merit List along with mock allotment has also been released. The Choice filling option will be opened for students who have been allotted seats under MOCK ALLOTMENT. if there is an amendment in the preferences/ choices. The final allotment of seats will be released on 5 October 2021

The AICTE JK Scholarship Counselling. The candidates who will be offered a seat will be required to join the allotted institute within the given time frame. It is therefore advisable for the candidates to come fully prepared to join the college allotted directly in the counselling. Until 2017,  the document verification was done after the release of the merit list but from last year the students had to get their documents verified before the online choice filling.  The candidates could fill in a minimum of 25 and a maximum of 100 choices.

Round 2 Allotment will be made if and only if the confirmation and freezing of the allotted seat for 1st round of counselling is less than 5000

PMSSS JK Scholarship Merit List 2021- Download PDF

The result of the PMSSS Provisional Seat Allotment for round 1 has been released. AICTE will also release a PMSSS Mock Allotment list of colleges and courses. It contains the names of 21,683 students. The merit list is based on the data filled in by candidates and considering HSC marks obtained from respective boards of examinations.

Merit List Analysis

• The merit list contains the name of 21683 students who had applied for the scholarship. There are reservations available for SC, ST, SEBC & PH students

PMSSS JK Scholarship Counselling 2021-22: Allotment Result

The candidates who applied for the AICTE JK Scholarship are allotted the colleges and courses as per their choices filled during the online choice filling process. The candidates should know that the allotment is purely provisional and based on the choice filled by the candidates. 

Note: Allotment letters to the students are to be issued to the students. To download the letter, candidates will have to log in to the portal as the letter will be available through their login.

PMSSS JK Scholarship 2021 Amount

The amount of scholarship towards academic fees will be recompensated directly to Institution. The expenditures against the academic fee which will be beared by the PMSS against the maintenance charges for a hostel, mess, cost of books and other incidental charges will be credited to the candidate's bank account directly.

The cover for maintenance charges is Rs 1,00,000 per annum and will be paid through DBT in the candidate's account directly in two equal instalments of Rs. 50,000 each.

PMSSS JK Scholarship Document Verification

The candidates who are shortlisted for Counselling must be physically present in the venue mentioned above with the original copy and one photocopy of the following documents:

• Class 10 Mark Sheet
• Class 12 Mark sheet
• Diploma Certificate (For Lateral Entry Only)
• Domicile Certificate issued by a competent authority
• Family Annual Income Certificate issued by a Tehsildar or equivalent
• Caste Certificate issued by competent authority for SC/ST/SEBC for claiming the reservation as per State Govt. Policy
• Document verification report issued by facilitation centres.

Upload and Submission of PMSSS Joining Report

The candidates are required to upload their joining report on the PMSSS candidate’s login (https://www.aicte-jk-scholarship-gov.in/) issued by the Institution and Bank Mandate having bank account seeded with Aadhar.

The college is required to verify the DBT application submitted by the PMSSS beneficiary students without any delay to enable AICTE to process her/his DBT.

The Candidates who failed to upload their joining report on the AICTE PMSSS Portal by using Candidate ID & Password on or before the last date of that round of counselling, their seats will be cancelled automatically and no request will be entertained by the Council.

AICTE PMSSS Colleges

• 10 Supernumerary seats in each AICTE Approved Engineering college with a limit of 2 seats per branch.
• 2 Supernumerary seats in a general stream in colleges approved by UGC under Section 12-B or respective regulatory body of Govt. of India.
• 3 Supernumerary Seats in Government Nursing Institutions.
• Courses offered in Pharmacy, Architecture, Law, Private Nursing Institutions and medical colleges are not available under the supernumerary quota for counselling. However, they may take admission on their own and avail themselves of scholarships.
• Students taking admission in centrally funded institutes located outside the state of J&K (Like IITs, NITs, Central Universities etc.) by the virtue of their merit within the sanctioned intake are also eligible for scholarships.
• Students taking admissions in AICTE approved Institutions located outside the state of J&K by the virtue of their merit within the sanctioned intake.
• Students taking admissions in Institutions approved by UGC under Section 12 B and located outside the state of J&K by the virtue of their merit, within the sanctioned intake.

AICTE JK Admission  Vacant Seats

The vacancy status of the seats will be known later. Here, candidates are provided with the AICTE JKAdmission Vacancy Seats for the year 2017. There were a total of 3430 seats available for J&K Students admission and out of them,1537 were vacant. The candidates who aspired for Admission in MBBS/BDS and had qualified NEET could submit their candidature to be considered on the waiting list.
