About MoEFCC National Level Poster Making Competition

MoEF National Level Poster Making Competition 2017 conducted by National Museum Natural History, New Delhi which is under the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate for the children who are born between 1 April 1999 and 31 March 2003. The competition is an initiative to make our children aware and connect them to our beautiful nature and select the Young Environmentalist of the Year Award. The children have better opportunity to show their thoughts through Poster drawing.  The winner of the contest will receive a cash prize, medal and certificate and the 1st prize winner will be awarded "Young Environmentalist of the Year Award 2017 on 5 June 2017 (World Environment Day). The last date to submit entries for MoEFCC National Level Poster Making Competition should be submitted till 4 pm on 15 May 2017.

  • The Theme of the Year 2017 - The theme of MoEF National Level Poster Making Competition 2017 is “Connecting people to nature”.

  •  Age: The children who are born between 1 April 1999 and 31 March 2003 are eligible to participate in MoEF National Level Poster Making Competition 2017.
  • Nationality: The applicants must be an Indian.
  • Non-Eligibility: The poster created by the applicant should not have been published anywhere.

MoEFCC National Level Poster Making Competition Reward

The candidates who have participated in MoEF National Level Poster Making Competition 2017 will be selected for awards which are categorised as follows. The 1st Prize winner will be entitled as "Young Environmentalist of the Year Award - YEYA 2017" on 5 June 2017.

MoEFCC National Level Poster Making Competition Application form and Process

  • The eligible children can participate in the competition by sending their entries. The candidates have to draw a poster on a drawing sheet of size 22x15 inches and have to write 200 words about the theme of their poster.
  • The candidates have to write their name, address, contact number, valid email id on the back side of the drawing sheet in the block letters.
  • The candidates have to send a proof of date of birth (copy of birth certificate/school certificate), a copy of Aadhar card and authenticity if work certificate attested by the head of school or gazetted officer.

Application Submission


The candidates can submit their drawing only through offline mode and the applicant has not to pay any fee for submission of entry. Completed drawing sheet, along with proof of date of birth (copy of birth certificate/school certificate), copy of aadhar card and authenticity if work certificate attested by the head of school or gazetted officer has to be sent before 4 pm on 15 May 2017 to the address given below:

MoEFCC National Level Poster Making Competition Selection Process

The best entry will be selected by the conducting body on the basis of creative drawing which must fulfil the theme of the MoEF National Level Poster Making Competition 2017. The best entry will be awarded with “Young Environment of the Year Award 2017” on the World Environment Day i.e. 5 June 2017. The judgment of the entries by the expert committee will be done on 17 May 2017 and the final results will be declared on 19 May 2017.
