ICSE and ISC Rechecking and Reappear for ISC Exam 2017. ICSE Result (Class 10) and ISC Result (Class 12) have been declared on May 6, 2016. The candidates who are not in doubts about their marks in ICSE and ISC result can apply for rechecking. Furthermore, candidates can even reappear for the ISC year 2017 exam.

Rechecking of ICSE and ISC Result 2016


The candidates who want to recheck their Class 10 and Class 12 for ICSE and ISC examination 2016 result has to contact their school and apply for rechecking before the due dates. The last date for their school to apply for ICSE and ISC rechecking are as follows:

Reappearing for ISC 2017 examination


The candidates who want to reappear for the ISC year 2017 exam must seek admission in an ISC affiliated school. This information is for: 

  • Candidates who have not awarded Pass certificate and wish to reappear in ISC 2017 examination with or without  regular attendance at an affiliated school. 
  • Candidates who have awarded Pass certificate in 2016 or earlier and wish to reappear in ISC 2017 examination with or without  regular attendance at an affiliated school. 

If you are planning to reappear in ISC 2017 exam then make sure that you take admission in ISC affiliated school before the following due dates.

September 15, 2016

 

Candidates who are Awarded Pass Certificate: 

  • Candidates who have been awarded pass certificates at the ISC Year 2016 Examination or earlier and now wish to appear for the ISC Year 2017 Examination with regular attendance at an affiliated school.
  • Candidates who have been awarded pass certificates at the ISC Year 2016 Examination or earlier and now wish to appear for the ISC Year 2017 Examination without attendance at an affiliated school. 

It is to be noted that candidates who have been awarded Pass certificate can offer any/all of the subjects offered by them in the last ISC examination taken by them as candidates in regular attendance at an affiliated school (provided that the subjects under consideration are still being offered by the Council). 

Candidates who are not awarded Pass certificate:

  • Candidates who have not been awarded pass certificates at the ISC Year 2016 Examination or earlier and now wish to appear for the ISC Year 2017 Examination with regular attendance at an affiliated school.
  • Candidates who have not been awarded pass certificates at the ISC Year 2016 Examination and now wish to appear for the ISC Year 2017 Examination without attendance at an affiliated school.

It is to be noted that Candidates who have not been awarded Pass Certificates will have to compulsorily offer the subject English and three, four or five subjects from the subjects offered by them in the last ISC Examination taken by them as candidates in regular attendance at an affiliated school.

  • It is to be noted that candidates who have entered as school candidates, and were not awarded pass certificates, are permitted to re-appear for the examination without further attendance at a Council affiliated school, only once in the immediate year following their failure, but not thereafter.

Points to Ponder

  • The candidates reappearing for ISC 2017 must carefully follow the syllabus of the regulations and syllabus. 
  • The candidates have to appear for both the Theory and practical component of a subject.
  • Admit Card: The admit card will be sent by last week of January 2017, with all its details and information regarding the examination to the Principal of the School where the candidate's centre for the examination is located.
