GATE Result 2019 will be declared on 16 March 2019 by IIT Madras for candidates who will appear the test on 2, 3, 9, 10 February 2019. GATE 2019 result will be available only on GOAPS (GATE Online Application Processing System). GATE result and GATE scorecard will be released by IIT Madras, the organising institute in online mode and the link of which will be available on this page whenever available. Applicants must note that the score card of GATE 2019 will be valid for 3 years from the date of declaration of result. The GATE result 2019 will be prepared on the basis of the responses of candidates against the questions asked in the exam, which are further converted into normalised marks.
The GATE score card will be available after the declaration of result for all the qualified candidates. Candidates are requested to take a copy of their score card of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering for future references. How will GATE result 2019 be prepared?
GATE result will be prepared on the basis of below-provided steps. Candidates must go through the steps thoroughly so that they can understand the how GATE result will be prepared!

GATE Result 2019 - Normalisation Process
The scores obtained by the candidates in GATE 2019 Exam will be converted into the Normalized Marks for Multi-session Papers. The raw marks of the candidates in different sessions will be converted into the normalised marks of that subject. This normalised score will be further used to compute the GATE Result of the candidates. In GATE 2019, examination for some papers may be conducted in multi-session. Hence, for these papers, a suitable normalization is applied to take into account any variation in the difficulty levels of the question papers across different sessions.
