About KRLMPCA UGCET

KRLMPCA UGCET 2017 is an All India Exam which would be conducted in the last week of May 2017 by Karnataka Religious and Linguistic Association (KRLA) for admission in B.Tech. There are  4 Medical, 4 Dental & 14 Engineering colleges under the Association and the UGET Exam would only be conducted for the B.Tech admission. KRLMPCA UGET 2017 is regulated by KRLA. B.Tech admissions will be done on the basis of UGCET score. However, the counselling for all the three courses will be done by KRLMPCA.

Candidates are informed that no examination will be permitted to be held by KRLMPCA for admission in MBBS or BDS studies by any private college or association or any private/ deemed University. The selection of candidates for MBBS or BDS studies will be based on the NEET scores. KRLMPCA is not conducting any entrance test or counselling for MBBS/BDS for the year 2017-18.

KRLMPCA UGCET Eligibility criteria

KRLMPCA UGCET can be taken by candidates across the country, there is no state wise provision specified but certain eligibility criteria have to be fulfilled by all the candidates.

Academic Qualification for B.Tech: The appearing candidate should have passed the PUC level II/10+2/ or equivalent examination recognized by the government with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology / Electronics as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study and obtained an aggregate of 45% in the optional subjects.

Note: For the candidates whose results have been awaited, they should specify "Results are awaited" in the application form.

KRLMPCA UGCET Application form and Admit Card

The application forms for KRLMPCA UGCET would be available from the first week of April 2017. The candidates can download the application form from the official website of KRLMPCA. Instructions for Filling the Application Form (Pen and Paper Based)

  • The application form must be filled in capital letters, and once it has been received at the Association office, there will be no provision for any alteration.
  • The downloaded application should be accompanied with a DD of Rs. 1000 drawn in favour of KRLMPCA, payable at Bangalore.
  • All the candidates are required to preserve a photocopy of the application form for counselling and admission process.
  • The candidate seeking admission under Linguistic /Religious Minority Community category in Medical/Dental/Engineering courses should attach Minority Certificate (format available in the brochure) duly signed by the Headmaster of the high school where the candidate has studied.


Submission of Application Form


Candidates must send their application forms by speed post and courier. The application should be sent to the address mentioned below. Candidate must note that no acknowledgement for the receipt of application form will be sent by the university.

KRLMPCA UGCET Admit Card/ Hall Ticket


Candidates can download the KRLMPCA UGCET admit card from the KRLMPCA official website by providing their mobile number that has been mentioned in the application form as user name and their date-of-birth as the password. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall without the hall ticket under any circumstances. KRLMPCA Exam will be conducted only in Bangalore & Gulbarga and the exact address of the exam venue will be written on the admit card.

  • All candidates must read the instruction printed on the admit card before entering the examination hall.

Note: If In case the candidate is unable to download the admit card he/she inform the association immediately.

KRLMPCA UGCET Fees

KRLMPCA UGCET Application Fee:  Rs.1,000

KRLMPCA UGCET Result and Counselling

KRLMPCA UGCET Result will be declared in the first week of June 2017. When declared, the result will be available on the official website of KRLMPCA. Candidates must note that no result would be displayed at the examination centre. 

 

Rank and Merit list will be assigned to those candidates who have secured more than 50% of marks.

KRLMPCA UGCET 2017 Answer Keys

 

It would be published on the official website on 22 May 2017. Any objections, clarification or challenge has to be filed before on or before the due date.

 

The objections, if any, should be sent by speed post along with a DD of Rs.100 per Question is drawn in favour of KRLMPCA payable at Bangalore. candidates can send their objection on the following address:

Qualifying Marks in UGCET
: Out of 180 marks evaluated for in the UGCET, the candidates have to secure 50% of the marks that is 90 in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics.

KRLMPCA UGCET Exam pattern

  • Duration of Examination:  3 Hour
  • Total Question: 240 Objective type, multiple choice questions. Each question has four options, candidates are asked to choose the right one.
  • Question Paper will be in English Language.
  • Marking Scheme: Each correct answer carries one mark, no negative marking for wrong answers given.No marks will be awarded for non-attempted questions
