About KIIT Bachelor of Film & Television

KIIT Bachelor of Film and Television Production will be a computer based test which will be conducted at various centres across India from April 14 to April 23, 2017. KIIT Bachelor of Film & Television Production or KIIT BFTP Admission 2017 will be done on the basis of KIITEE 2017 to be conducted by KIIT University,  in order to give admission to eligible candidates in Under Graduate Engineering, Architecture, medical, law and postgraduate programmes under Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. 

There is a common KIITEE 2017 application form for all the courses at KIIT University, but the Entrance Exam will be different for all the courses and will be in accordance with the Exam pattern.About 20,500 students have been enrolled in various courses in KIIT University.

To appear for KIITEE 2017, there are no application fees. Till 2014 students had to pay application fees but in 2015, the university has taken a decision to charge no application fees from the applicants. 

 

KIITEE 2017 Bachelor in Film & Television Production 

  • KIITEE is conducted by KIIT University for admission into KIIT School of Film and Media Sciences.
  • KIITEE 2017 Bachelor in Film & Television Production is available to eligible candidates in Under Graduate Film & Television Production courses.
  • The duration of Bachelor in Film & Television Production is 3 years, 1 year for the Foundation Programme and other two years candidates can take specialisation given in the table below:

KIIT Bachelor of Film & Television Eligibility criteria

Age: Candidate shall be born on or after July 01, 1996. Must be less than 21 years of age as recorded on July 1, 2017.

Academic Qualification: Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12 examination in 2015 or 2016 or those who are appearing in Class 12 examination in 2017 are eligible.

Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidate must have passed in Class 12 examination or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Science Stream.

KIITEE 2017 Important Dates 

KIIT Bachelor of Film & Television Application form and Admit Card

For admission to the Undergraduate programs offered by KIIT University, candidates are required to fill in the KIIT University Application Form via any one of the two modes mentioned below:

  • Online: The candidates can apply online through the official website of KIIT. The candidates need to apply online and fill all the important details such as personal, education qualification etc. The candidates also needs to upload their photograph as well.
  • Offline: The candidates can also apply offline by downloading the Application Form from the official website. It will not be available in hard copy at the college premises. The candidates must use black ball point pen and CAPITAL Letters while filling the KIIT offline Application Form. The candidates should also paste a recent passport size color photograph.

The candidates must fill their KIIT 2017 Application form either online and Offline and must keep at least two printouts of the application form with them for future reference. The candidates need to send the application form on or before 31 March 2017 to the address given below

KIITEE Application Fees 2017

For the year 2017, candidates are not required to pay any application fees/ registration fees for KIIT Entrance Exam.

KIIT Bachelors of Film &Television Production Fee 2017

Following is the tuition fee for the programme, and the candidates will have to pay other fees as required by the university.

KIIT Bachelor of Film & Television Result and Counselling

KIITEE Result 2017 will be announced on May 5, 2017.A cut-off qualifying mark will be fixed by the University, at the time of declaration of Entrance Result.The result will be published Online. The candidates can see their result by giving their Application number.

  • Rank Card indicating the Rank in Entrance Examination, shall be sent to the qualified candidates. Candidates can download the rank card from the website.
  • On the basis of marks secured by the candidate in Entrance Examination, separate Merit lists will be prepared for all the programs.

KIITEE 2017 Counselling 2017

KIITEE Counselling 2017 will be held on May 25, 2017.Shortlisted candidates will be called for Counselling, Seat Allotment, Document Verification for final Admission.

Documents to be carried at the time of Counselling or Admission

The candidates who are called for Counselling must bring the following Original Documents and token fees to the Counselling Centre:

  • KIITEE 2017 Admit Card
  • KIITEE 2017 Rank Card
  • Class 10 and Class 12 Mark sheet and Pass Certificate
  • Relevant Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, clearly indicating the Reservation Criteria claimed by the candidate.
  • Demand Draft of Rs 75,000 which includes the Counselling Registration Fees of Rs. 10000 (non-refundable) in favor of KIIT, Payable at Bhubaneswar.

KIIT Bachelor of Film & Television Exam pattern

Duration: 180 minutes

It contains 120 objective type questions in English.Each question will be followed by four answers of which only one is correct / most appropriate.

Language: Language of the questions will be in English

Scoring: Each correct answer fetches 4 marks

Negative Marking: For each wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted.
