Goa Medical - MBBS/BDS/BHMS/BAMS Admissions 2017 is conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE Goa), Government of Goa for admissions to the First Year of Medical Professional Degree courses in the State of Goa. Goa Medical College is affiliated to Goa University and offers MBBS as well BDS course, and seats are filled on the basis of NEET.
The admission to the Goa Medical Colleges offering MBBS/BDS/BHMS/BAMScourses will be based on the NEET 2017 Exam Scores of the candidates.
Latest Update: The admission to the BTech, BPharm, Allied Health Science and BSc Nursing will be conducted on the basis of GCET Goa, However, the admissions to the MBBS/BDS/BAMS and BHMS will be conducted on the basis of NEET Exam.

Complete Details on NEET 2017 Exam
The candidate must have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the academic year.
The applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Class 12 examination of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or an examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, or any other equivalent examination.
Candidates appearing for the admission to the Medical courses across the state of Goa must have a score card of NEET 2017 Exam, It is mandatory to appear in the NEET Exam 2017 for the admission to MBBS/BDS/BHMS/BAMS.
Candidates desirous of seeking admissions to Professional Medical Degree courses during the academic session 2017-18 are required to fill and submit the application form which will be updated in the link given below. Candidates must note that the admissions to the 15 % Seats will be based on NEET counselling. However, the admissions to the remaining courses will be based on Institutional Counselling.

Candidates appearing in the CET Exam will have to an Application Fee of Rs 1500 at the time of the submission of the GCET Goa Application Form. The Application Fee is to be paid via demand draft drawn in favour of “Director of Technical Education” at Panaji – Goa, on any Scheduled Bank. The candidates will be shortlisted based on their NEET 2017 Scores, and a merit list of the candidates will be prepared. The candidates have to reach the counselling venue (to be declared later).
