AIFD WAT 2017 is an entrance exam for admission in B.Sc. Fashion and Apparel Design in Army Institute of Fashion and Design, Bangalore. The institute is affiliated to Bangalore University. AIFD WAT 2017 exam is for admission B.Sc in Fashion & Apparel Design. It is 3 years undergraduate course and is for admission to the wards of Army personnel. Army Institute of Fashion and Design is for the children of eligible serving Army personnel, eligible ex-Army personnel and wards of war widows/widows of the Army.

Academic Qualification: The applicant must have passed 10+2 / Equivalent examination in any Combination with a minimum of 35% aggregate marks from recognised boards by UGC / university.
The children of following categories of Army personnel are eligible:
Physical Fitness: Candidates should have been certified by MH /RMO/ Registered Medical Practitioner as physically and mentally fit to pursue the course. At the time of admission, the candidates are required to submit the Certificate.
AIFD WAT 2017 Application Form can only be filled online by the candidates. The Online Application form is now available and the candidates are advised to fill the application form before the due date that is 5 April 2017. The candidates can fill the online or offline form, the methods are given below.
The candidates are advised to fill the required details in every section of the form and to check the details of the application form before the final submission because once the application gets submitted then the candidates will not be able to do any changes.

AIFD WAT Admit Card will be Available from 25 April 2017 onwards. The admit card will be available on the official website only for those eligible candidates who have submitted their duly filled application forms before the due date.

AIFD WAT 2017 Result will get declared on 22 May 2017 and will be put up on the AIFD website and will also be displayed at AIFD Bangalore, college notice board. Candidates declared to have passed WAT will also be individually informed by AIFD Bangalore.
The shortlisted students will be required to pay the Course registration fee of Rs.10,000 & Rs 5,000 for hostel through a Crossed Demand Draft in favour of “Army Institute of Fashion & Design” payable at Bangalore on or before 2 June 2017.

Weightage in Admissions will be given to the children of the Gallantry Award Winners as follows:

Before the preparation of overall merit list, the above-mentioned percentage of the respective gallantry award winner’s ward’s WAT score will be added to his/ her actual WAT score.

Type and Language of the Test: Objective type test in The English language.
Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking.
Questions will be objective type and answers have to be marked using ball point pen only. The test will have the following components:
AIFD WAT Exam centres list is given below for the exam to be held 13 May 2017. The test Cities are spread in 6 centres in different states throughout India. The candidates can choose the test centre as per their convenience from the list given below.
The candidate has an option to select 3 test centres while filling up the application form. As far as possible, the examination centres will be allotted to the candidates as per their first/ second choice.
The organisers have a right to allot any other test centre to the candidate which is closer to the candidate’s first/second choice.
