AIFD WAT 2017 is an entrance exam for admission in B.Sc. Fashion and Apparel Design in Army Institute of Fashion and Design, Bangalore. The institute is affiliated to Bangalore University. AIFD WAT 2017 exam is for admission B.Sc in Fashion & Apparel Design.
It is 3 years undergraduate course and is for admission to the wards of Army personnel. Army Institute of Fashion and Design is for the children of eligible serving Army personnel, eligible ex-Army personnel and wards of war widows/widows of the Army.
Total Number of Seats: 60 (Very limited seats for civilians)
AIFD WAT Exam Date: Written Admission Test (WAT) will be conducted tentatively on Last week of April 2017 by Army Institute of Fashion & Design, Bangalore. The Examination cities are: Pune, Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow & Guwahati.
AIFD WAT 2017 Application Form filling will begin from first week of January 2017
Academic Qualification: The applicant must have passed 10+2 / Equivalent examination in any Combination with a minimum of 35% aggregate marks from recognised boards by UGC / university.
The children of following categories of Army personnel are eligible:
Physical Fitness: Candidates should have been certified by MH / RMO / Registered Medical Practitioner as physically and mentally fit to pursue the course. At the time of admission, the candidates are required to submit the Certificate.
AIFD WAT 2017 Application Form can only be filled online by the candidates. The Online Application form will be available from the first week of January 2017.

Candidates will be shortlisted according to their performance in Written Admission Test (WAT).

Weightage in Admissions will be given to the children of the Gallantry Award Winners as follows:

Before the preparation of overall merit list, the above-mentioned percentage of the respective gallantry award winner’s ward’s WAT score will be added to his/ her actual WAT score.

Total Marks:100 marks
Type and Language of the Test: Objective type test in The English language.
There will be no negative marking.
Questions will be objective type and answers have to be marked using ball point pen only.
