About BVP CET 2018

BVP CET 2018 is an all India Common Entrance Test CET (Engineering) which is conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University (BVDU), Pune. BVP CET result 2018 has been declared by the officials. BVP CET (Engineering) is conducted to give admission to eligible candidates in various Under Graduate Engineering Programmes in its College of Engineering, Pune. BVP CET 2018 Eligibility criteria

Education Qualification

  • Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (H.S.C.) or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE) or any other examination equivalent to 10+2 or HSC examination from any recognized Board/ University from any school/college situated in India.
  • Candidates those who are likely to appear or who have appeared for qualifying examination i. e. H.S.C. etc. but whose results have not been declared can also apply.

Minimum Marks

  • Candidate should have passed in 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category or Persons with Disability). OR
  • Candidates who passed diploma or its equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST category) can also apply.

The admit card for BVP CET will be available online to candidates after successfully filling up the online application form and payment of the entrance test fee. Candidates can download the admit card through the official website of Bharati Vidyapeeth University. 
In case, the candidate is unable to download the BVP CET Admit Card should call the University's helpline number or contact the address undersigned this page before the exam date. Candidates are advised to check the details like name of the students, exam centre, exam dates etc. on the printed admit card. BVP CET 2018 Fees

Candidates are required to pay Rs. 1700 as an application fee for BVP CET. The application fee can be paid through payment gateway using internet banking mode or through debit/credit card.

This fee is to be paid by cash or through Bank Draft drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of "The Principal, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), College of Engineering, Pune” payable at Pune on the day of counselling itself.

BVP CET 2018 Result and Counselling

BVP CET 2018 Result for engineering will be declared on 4 June 2018 for the exam conducted on 27 May 2018. However, as soon as the result gets declare, it will be updated on this page. BVP CET is a Pen and Paper Based Test which will be conducted on 27 May 2018 for (B.Tech) across many centres throughout India.

BVDU BTech Selection Process

After the declaration of the BVP CET result, the university will start the selection process for the admission in Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University.

The merit list of CET (Engineering) - 2018 (based on 200 marks) will be declared on 4th June 2018 after 5 p.m. Separate merit list will be prepared for Regular category and Foreign/NRI/PIO/OCI/ Institutional Quota Merit Category. Candidates who have appeared for CET (Engineering)-2018 based on the total marks obtained by them in Mathematics and Physics taken together. Selected candidates will get admission in the Engineering degree courses of the College of Engineering, Pune.

If two or more candidates have scored equal marks in the BVP CET (Engineering) - 2018, the inter se rank of such candidates will be determined in order of preferences listed below

  1. Candidates obtaining higher marks in Mathematics in the entrance test.
  2. Candidates obtaining higher aggregate percentage of marks in H.S.C./equivalent examinations
  3. Candidates obtaining the higher percentage of marks in Mathematics in the 10th standard examination.
  4. In the case of the tie at this level, computerized random selection of the candidate will be carried out.

BVP CET 2018 Exam pattern

BVP CET 2018 will be one question paper in English Language and will contain 200 multiple choice objective type questions on Physics and Mathematics. There will be no questions on Chemistry in the Entrance Exam.

  • Marks for each question: Each question will be followed by four answers of which only one is correct / most appropriate. One Mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
  • Type of questions: Multiple Choice Objective Type
  • Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking. 
  • Duration of exam: 3 Hours

Candidate must bring his/her own materials such as HB pencil/blue/black ball point pen at the time of the exam.
