Sainik School Chhingchhip creates history, admits 6 girls cadet for 2018-19 session
Sainik School Chhingchhip created history as on Monday 4 June 2018, when 6 girls joined Sainik School Chhingchhip. As of now, Sainik School is male bastions school in the country which is administrated and managed by Sainik Schools Society under Ministry of Defence. Earlier, Sainik School Lucknow was the only school in India who admitted as many as 15 girls in Class 9 for the 2018-19 session. Sainik School Chhingchhip: As it happened
Earlier, 29 girl candidates submitted Chhingchhip Sainik School Application Form, out of them, only 21 appeared in the entrance exam held on 8 January 2018. Though there were only 10% seats approved for girls and therefore only 6 were finally selected to complete the batch of 60 applicants. The selections of these girls are made on the basis of written exam followed by Interview round.
Sainik School Chhingchhip : What is next
Sainik School Chhingchhip is the preliminary institute in order to prepare and admission into NDA and INA. So far NDA and INA are the only departments where girls’ cadets are not allowed for admission. Sainik School Chhingchhip: More opening are expected
As 6 girls candidates are admitted into class 6 in Chhingchhip Sainik School which possibly will open the new door in future. However, they all have to follow the same instruction as followed by the boys' candidates and go through under strict administration and schedule. Though, on the succession of this notion initiated by Chhingchhip Sainik School, there are possibilities for opening for girls students in others Sainik School as well.
