Punjab Post Matric Scholarship for SC Students
The application form of Punjab Post Matric Scholarship for SC has been made available. The last date for Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship for SC candidates is 15 October 2020. Punjab Post Matric Scholarship will be paid only to candidates whose parents/guardians income from all sources does not exceed from Rs. 2,50,000 per year. The value of scholarship includes the following allowances until the completion of course, which are:
- Maintenance allowance
- Reimbursement of compulsory refundable fee
- Study tour charges
- Thesis typing and research charges for research scholars
- Book allowance for students pursuing correspondence courses
- Book bank facility for specified courses
- Additional allowance for students for disability
Punjab Post Matric Scholarships for OBC Students
Punjab Post Matric Scholarships for Other Backward Classes (OBC) scheme is established to provide financial assistance to OBC students at post matriculation or post-secondary stage to complete their education. Only employed students whose income in combination with their parents/guardian’s income should not exceed Rs. 1.00 lakh per annum will be eligible to apply for Post Matric Scholarship for OBC students. The value of the scholarship will include maintenance allowance, reader charged for blind students, reimbursement for compulsory non-refundable fees, study tour charges, thesis typing or printing charges and book allowance for students pursuing correspondence courses until the completion of the particular course.
Ashirwad Scholarship Punjab
The Ashirwad Scholarship Punjab offers financial support to the economically weaker students from the SC and OBC offers scholarships to students to pursue professional and non-professional courses after matriculation. The initiative of Ashirwad scholarship is to facilitate faster and efficient disposal of scholarship applications and timely payment of the scholarship to students, directly in their banks accounts.
Punjab Chief Minister Scholarship MRSPTU
The Punjab Chief Minister Scholarship 2020 is scheme launched in 2017 by Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University. Punjab Chief Minister scholarship 2020 has been introduced for providing cheaper and quality technical support to the meritorious poor students from the state of Punjab. Punjab CM Scholarship dates and application form has not been released yet and will be provided as soon as the authority will release it. The selected and deserving students will be given fee waiver as per the percentage obtained in class 10 and JEE Main.
Amar Ujala Atul Maheshwari Scholarship
Atul Maheshwari Scholarship, which is commonly known as Amar Ujala Atul Maheshwari scholarship is organized by Amar Ujala Foundation as a part of its ‘corporate social responsibility’. This scholarship scheme will be awarded after the examination. Candidates belonging to financially deprived families with an annual income of less than Rs. 1.5 lakh per annum can apply for the program. Atul Maheshwari scholarship application form was available in the third week of August 2020. Amar Ujala Atul Maheshwari Scholarship 2020 is offered to students from Class 9 to 12. A total of 36 scholarships of worth Rs. 14.4 lakhs will be awarded to meritorious students.
Punjab NTSE Scholarship for Class 10 students
State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Punjab will conduct National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) stage 1 on 3 November 2020. NTSE exam is a scholarship test awarded on the basis of merit rank. NTSE is conducted in stage 1 and stage 2, respectively. NTSE Punjab stage 1 will be conducted for candidates who are domicile of the state. Punjab NTSE 2020 exam will have two sections – Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholarship Ability Test (SAT). The question paper of NTSE Punjab 2020 will have a total of 200 questions and only 240 minutes will be allotted to complete the test. Only candidates who will qualify in Punjab NTSE 2020 stage 1 will be eligible to participate for NTSE stage 2.
Punjab NMMS Scholarship for Class 8 Students
Punjab NMMS scholarship scheme has been launched by MHRD. NMMS is a centrally sponsored scholarship scheme which is being offered to meritorious students from economically weaker background to continue their senior secondary education. Punjab NMMS application form and dates have not been released and will be provided as soon as announced. From this year, NMMS scholarship amount has been increased from Rs. 500 per month to Rs. 1000. The last date for filling the application form of NMMS 2020 is 15 October.

Steps to apply for Punjab Scholarship
Step 1: Click the link given for Punjab Govt Scholarship Portal
Step 2: Click on 'Citizen Login' and register as a new user
Step 3: Login with your user ID and Password and update your profile
Step 4: Click on "Fresh Application" in the left menu. All the Punjab Scholarships will be displayed.
Step 5: Choose the Punjab Scholarship you want to apply and click on 'Apply'
Step 6: Go to Alternative 1 for Offline Form Application and Alternative 2 for Online Form Application
Step 7: Fill the Punjab Scholarship form and submit. In case of Offline form, fill the e-form in offline mode and then upload the filled form on the Fresh Application screen.
