Odisha MBBS BDS Admission 2018 is done by Odisha Joint Entrance Examination cell (OJEE). Odisha MBBS merit list 2018 to be released on 30 June derived on the basis of NEET scores. Only aspirants who have successfully registered themselves are included in Odisha NEET 2018 merit list. On 26 June 2018, the authority also released the list of registered aspirants for document verification. The eligible candidates included in Odisha MBBS state merit rank will be allowed to fill and lock their choices from 1 to 2 July 2018. Odisha MBBS 2018 Important Dates

Candidates can check the important dates related to Odisha MBBS admission 2018 from the table below.

• Age: The candidates must be of 17 years of age as on 31 December 2018 and there will be no upper age limit.
• Nativity: The candidates must be the permanent native of Odisha. or Children of All India Civil Service officers serving in the state of Odisha cadre.
• Education: Candidates must have passed the Intermediate (10+2) examination with the subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, Individually and must have secured minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry & Biology at +2 Sc. level for General Candidate (GE), 40% for SC/ST candidates and 45% for locomotory disability of lower limbs candidates (PC). The required mark is 40% for Physically Challenged candidate of SC/ST category.
• Minimum Qualifying Marks for category candidates: 
  • General (GE) – 131 (50th percentile)
  • Physically Challenged (locomotory disability of lower limbs)(PC-GE) – 118 (45th percentile)
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Scheduled Caste (SC)-107 (40th percentile)
  • For Physically challenged candidate SC/ST category, 107 (40th percentile)

Eligibility for NRI Candidates

The NRI candidates, who have qualified the NEET UG 2018, are eligible. Such candidates have to submit the following documents in support of NRI.

• Valid pass port
• Valid VISA
• Consignment/work order
• Sponsorship letter mentioning residential address outside India

The fee structure of the MBBS/ BDS course have been approved by the Government of India. The additional fees as prescribed by concerned University may be collected at institutional level which may vary from institution to institution. NRI candidates have to pay four times of the above fees in private colleges.

Odisha MBBS/BDS Counselling 2018

Odisha MBBS/BDS Counselling will be done in two rounds (dates are given above in tabular form), Detailed counselling schedule will be announced soon. 

• Odisha MBBS/BDS Counselling Rounds- First Two rounds of Odisha MBBS and BDS Counselling will be conducted online only.  Aspirants included in the merit list will be allowed for choice filling and locking from 1 to 2 July 2018. • A Spot Counselling will be conducted if the vacancy arises due to any reason after 2^nd Round counselling and admission.

Odisha MBBS BDS Seat Allotment Procedure

• Odisha MBBS BDS Seats will be allotted as per the merit of the candidates in the state rank list and also on the basis of the choices filled by the candidates.
• The candidates who have allotted the seats in the round 1 of the counselling procedure can opt for the appearing in the round 2 of the counselling procedure for the improvisation purpose only.
• In case the candidates who have participated in the 2nd round of the counselling, despite getting a seat in the 1st round of the counselling, and they do not get any seat in the 2nd round. Such candidates will be retained with their seat allotted in round 1.
• In case the candidates fail to get the provisional admission to the institutions allotted in the round 1 of the counselling, then their admission will be cancelled and the seat will be treated vacant.
• Candidates who have already taken admission in a particular reserved category are not allowed to change to another category in the same college.
• After final counselling is over, OJEE will send the list of students admitted along with the admission fees and original documents to the concerned institute.

• Ex-Serviceman Certificate issued by Rajya Sainik Board, Bhubaneswar.
• Candidates interested to avail Physical Challenged category quota, must appear medical board on declared date at SCB Medical College, Cuttack. Report from Medical Board is final and binding on a candidate for getting PC quota seat and no other kind of documents are acceptable.
