DY Patil Kolhapur MBBS Admissions 2017 will be done on the basis of NEET scores as per the order of the Supreme Court of India. Admission schedule and other dates are yet to be announced by the institute, students are advised to keep a check on this page for latest information on MBBS admissions in DY Patil Kolhapur. The total number of seats at Dy Patil deemed University, Kolhapur:  

• MBBS - 150 seats 
• B.Sc. Nursing - 50 Seats 

Earlier, DY Patil Kolhapur conducted AICET for MBBS admissions, but now on the admissions will be based on NEET 2017. 

DY Patil Medical College Kolhapur Important Dates 2017

• The candidate should be an Indian Citizen who has completed 17 years of age as on Dec 31, 2017.
• The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and English with 50% marks secured in PCB.

Eligibility for NRI/PIO/ FN

For candidates who are from International Board and they follow American standard of teaching, the candidate must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at Advanced Placement Level, and they should have a minimum “C” grade in all these subjects which are specifically mentioned above.

The Online Process of Admission Counselling will start in August 2017 and the candidates who wish to take admission in D.Y. Patil Medical College, Kolhapur need to apply online. As per the notification of UGC, the NEET scores is mandatory for admission to MBBS/BDS course in any government and private medical colleges in India. Therefore, to apply for the admission into MBBS/BDS course, the candidates need to submit their NEET score.

Payment of Exam Fee: Application fee has to be paid in the form of Demand draft. DD must be drawn in favor of 'Registrar, DY Patil Education Society Deemed University, Kolhapur' drawn on any Nationalized bank payable at Kolhapur. The payment amount are as follows:

• General Category: Rs 5000
• NRI/PIO/FN: 200 USD

The candidates should also mention the serial number of their application form and their name on the back of the demand draft.

DY Patil Kolhapur Counselling 2017

DY Patil Counselling will be based on the DYPU Merit List. The Admission will be based on NEET scores. The dates of Merit List and Counselling are given in the table below:

Documents at the time of MBBS Counselling

The candidates have to carry the following documents for spot admission.

• NEET score card
• Full proof date of birth-SSC certificate or Domicile certificate, nationality certificate, valid passport, date of birth certificate
• A certificate from the Principal/Headmaster of the school which summarizes the student's presence in the school for pursuing class 11 and 12 education.
• Statement of Marks for SSC and HSC.
• Transfer Certificates
• Caste certificate or caste validation certificate
• Conduct and character certificate
• Medical Fitness certificate
• Four passport size photograph with the name written on the back of the photograph.
