Honda Yes Awards 2015-16 winners have been announced on January 20, 2016. Total 14 students have been selected as the winners. This program was only for students of IITs.
The final selection was based on personal interviews by Mr Shirish Garud, Senior Fellow and Associate Director, EETD (Energy-Environment Technology Development) Division TERI After the final interviews, the results and observations were compiled and submitted to the Honda YES Award Grant Committee at Honda Foundation.
Each Yes award winner will get USD 3000. These students will also become eligible for Honda Yes Award Plus, if, within three years of receiving the award they go for a two and half months internship with a Japanese company or research Institute or pursue a master's or doctoral course at a Japanese graduate school.
