Amar Ujala Scholarship Result 2015 announced on January 12, 2016, for the Phase 2 exam held on November 22, 2015. The result is announced on the official website of Amar Ujala and will also be announced in Amar Ujala newspaper. You can see the list of the winners here. It is a merit cum means scholarship and more that 80% of the winners are from rural areas.

The eligible students for Amar Ujala Scholarship were called for the Scholarship test which was organised in two phases. 70,000 students of Class 9-12 attempted the written test in phase 1 held in 6 states in 51 centres from across various State Education boards and out of them 200 students were selected for phase 2 exam.
The Phase 2 Exam was held on November 22, 2015 and was taken by 200 meritorious students. The final result for which will be announced by January 15, 2016, and it will comprise the list of 36 students of Class 9-12 who have been awarded the scholarship. 18 students will be selected from class 9 & 10 and another 18 from class 11 & 12.
The amount of scholarship for class 9 & 10 students is Rs. 30,000 and for Class 11 &12 is Rs.50,000. It is a one-time scholarship and will not be renewed. The scholarship will be distributed at an award ceremony in Delhi.
The scholarship exam for Atul Maheshwari scholarship is commonly known as Amar Ujala Scholarship. The students who attained a minimum 65% marks in previous class and had an annual family income less than 1.5 lakh were eligible for the scholarship.
