ALLEN Kota Students bagged all Top 3 AIR in KVPY 2017-18. With 5 out of the top 10 ranks in KVPY SA Stream ALLEN Kota has proved its supremacy again. ALLEN has achieved great success in 'Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna” (KVPY 2017-18) organized by Dept. of Science and Technology. Students of ALLEN Career Institute bagged all TOP 3 positions in the exam and made another record. In final KVPY result of  Class 11 (SA stream) and  Class 12 (SX stream), 10 students of ALLEN have secured the Top 10 positions out of 20 for the two streams. A total of 433 students selected are from the institute.

The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is an on-going National Programme of Fellowship in Basic Sciences, to attract exceptionally highly motivated students for pursuing basic science courses and research career in science. Under the scheme, the Government of India encourages the students to move forward in the field of science and research under the Department of Science and Technology. 

Top 3 AIR in KVPY 2017-18 bagged by ALLEN Kota Students

Brajesh Maheshwari, Director of ALLEN said that the students have proved superiority in the results. 5 out of the top 10 ranks in grade SA is secured by ALLEN Classroom programme students. 6 out of 10 students in this category were of ALLEN. Henceforth, 11 ALLEN students are in the top 10 in SA and SX Grade.

433 ALLEN Students got Selected in KVPY Phase 2

A large number of students got success in KVPY stage 2. Total 3052 students got selected for KVPY Fellowship Award from SA + SX Streams, amongst which a total of 433 students are from ALLEN. This includes 384 classroom and 49 Distance Learning students. As compared to last year, the selections increased by 40%. Last year, 300 ALLEN students were selected for the KVPY fellowship.

In the SA results of class 11, institute's student Nishant Abhangi secured AIR-1.  Dhyey Sankalp Gandhi secured AIR-2, whereas AIR-3 is bagged by Rajdeep Singh Dhingra.  Along with this Sumanyu Mahajan got 7th and Ayushman Tripathy got 10th Rank. 5 out of the top 10 ranks in grade SA is secured by ALLEN Classroom programme students.

5 ALLEN Students amongst top 10 in SX Stream 

In the SX results of class 12, Yash Gupta of ALLEN bagged AIR-4, Vishwesh Milind secured 5th and Bhaskar Gupta 6th position. Whereas Akhil Tambi got 8th, Amulya Gupta 9th and Abhinav Gupta 10th position respectively. Vishwesh Milind and Amulya Gupta are students of ALLEN distance learning program and the rest of the students are from the classroom program.

  • 10 ALLEN students are in the Top 10 position among 20 students in SA and SX Stream
  • Overall 433 Selections in the KVPY Final Result which is a 40% Increase from last year's selection

All India topper of KVPY 2018 Nishant Abhangi said that in order to achieve his goal he focused on classroom coaching and also revised the syllabus of  Class 10. Earlier Nishant has been honoured with National Child Award from Hon’ble President of India Sh.Ramnath Kovind.

Nishant is a gold medallist in the 13th International Junior Science Olympiad. He was among the rankers in the National Standard Examination in Astronomy. Nishant was also selected to participate in 11th International Olympiad in Astronomy and Astrophysics conducted by Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education, Govt. of India and he secured the award of Excellence in The Australian National Chemistry Quiz. He also achieved the 1st position in Techniche 2016 organized by IIT, Guwahati. Nishant hails from Rajkot, his father is a businessman and mother is a homemaker.
