JEE Main Syllabus 2019: Check JEE Maths, Chemistry, Physics Syllabus

JEE Main Syllabus 2019 / 2020 - It takes a few good months or even years to complete the entire JEE syllabus. As per the JEE Main syllabus 2019, the questions will be based on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. For the first time, JEE Main 2019 will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). However, as per the NTA press conference, the syllabus for this session will remain same as that of JEE Main 2018 syllabus. Engineering aspirants must make sure that they become familiar with the JEE Main syllabus 2019, so that they can focus on the required topics only. However, candidates must note that JEE Main 2019 Syllabus for Paper I and Paper II will be different from each other. To understand the JEE 2019 syllabus better, candidates can refer to the NCERT, ICSE and State Board books. JEE Main Syllabus 2019 - JEE Paper 1 Syllabus

As mentioned earlier, the syllabus for JEE Main 2019 will be different for both paper 1 (B.E./ B.Tech.) and paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning). In JEE Main Paper 1, the questions will be based on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. JEE Main Syllabus 2019 - JEE Paper 2 Syllabus

The JEE Main Paper 2 is being held for admission to the B.Arch and B.Planning of the participating institutes. Candidates can check the JEE Main Paper 2 syllabus below -

JEE Main Paper 2 (Part I) Syllabus

  • Visualising different sides of three-dimensional objects
  • Visualising three-dimensional objects from two-dimensional drawings
  • Awareness of persons, places, Buildings, Materials
  • Analytical Reasoning Mental Ability (Visual, Numerical and Verbal)
  • Objects, Texture related to Architecture and build—environment

JEE Main Paper 2 (Part II) Syllabus

  • Sketching of scenes and activities from memory of urbanscape (festivals, trees, public space, recreational spaces, market, monuments, street scenes, etc.)
  • Sketching of a landscape (jungles, riverfronts, plants, etc.)
  • Sketching of rural life
  • Three dimensional - perception: Understanding and appreciation of scale and proportion of objects, building forms and elements, colour texture, harmony and contrast
  • Creating two dimensional and three-dimensional compositions using given shapes and forms
  • Design and drawing of geometrical or abstract shapes and patterns in pencil
  • Transformation of forms both 2 D and 3 D union, subtraction, rotation, development of surfaces and volumes, Generation of Plan, elevations and 3 D views of objects

After going through the topics of the JEE Main syllabus 2019, candidates are advised to solve the JEE Main question papers. By solving these JEE Main old question papers, candidates will improve their preparation level and also to become familiar with their strengths and weaknesses.
