BSc Nursing Kerala Admission 2019 - The application process of Kerala Nursing to start in July. The link for Kerala Nursing online registration is available on this page. BSc Nursing Kerala Eligibility criteria

Academic Eligibility for BSc Nursing / BSc Optometry: The candidates should have passed the higher secondary examination or equivalent examination conducted by Board of Higher Secondary, Kerala with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English put together are only eligible to apply.

Age: The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31 December 2019. The candidates applying for admission to any reservation will have to send a certificate which can prove their reservation.

Academic Eligibility for BPT: The candidates should have passed the higher secondary examination or equivalent examination conducted by Board of Higher Secondary, Kerala with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology put together are only eligible to apply.

  • The candidates belong to socially and economically backward family will have 5% of relaxation in minimum qualifying marks.

Nativity: Only Indian candidates are eligible to apply for admission otherwise notified. Person of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are also eligible to apply but such candidates will not be eligible for any kind of reservation. The candidates, who live in India, will be categorised as “Keralite” and “Non-Keralite”. BSc Nursing Kerala Application form and Admit Card

Application form for Kerala Nursing Admission 2019 can be filled and submitted only through a single online application form. The candidates can fill the registration form on the official website of Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE) at cee.kerala.gov.in. The candidates can also fill the application form by clicking the link given on this page. To fill the application form online, the candidates have to follow the steps given below. The last date for the Kerala BSc registration will be in the third week of July 2019. The official dates will be revealed soon.

STEP 1: Registration
First, the candidates have to register themselves on the official website. The candidates have to enter the details demanded there. Thereafter, the candidates will get a system generated application number and the candidates have to create a password by fulfilling the password requirement instruction given there.

STEP 2: Upload Image
After successfully completed the registration process, the candidates have to now upload required images. The candidates have to upload their recent passport size colour photograph, signature, and left thumb impression. The specification of the images must be as follows:

STEP 3: Fill the Application Form
Now the candidates have to fill the application form and before filling the application form the candidates are advised to read the prospectus carefully.  The candidates can fill the application form by providing all the basic information such as basic personal details, educational details, address, contact details, selection of the course they are applying for. The candidates have to fill the application form very carefully because any mistakes/false/incomplete/wrong information will affect the candidate’s eligibility for admission or claim for reservation.

 After filling the application form, the candidates have to click “save and preview” button and preview the details in the application form. Now the candidates have to make sure that the information given in the application form is correct. Thereafter, the candidates have to click the “final submission” button.

STEP 4: Payment of Application Fee
After filling the application form, the candidates have to make payment of the application fee by using the way of online mode of payment or by using the way of offline payment mode that is e-challan.

  • Online Payment: The candidates who want to make payment of the application fee through online payment can use the debit card, credit card or internet banking.
  • Offline Payment: The candidates want to pay through the offline mode of payment can use e-challan. Such candidates are required to take a printout of e-challan by clicking the option “print e-challan” during filling the application process.

After successful payment of the application fee, the candidates have to take a print out of submitted application form.

Documents to attach with the BSc Nursing Kerala Application Form

The candidates have to attach the following document with the print out of the filled application form:

  • Self-attested copy of the SSLC or equivalent certificate or DOB
  • Certificate of proof of Nativity
  • Self-attested copy of the mark sheet of the qualifying exam
  • Original certificate in support of any claims for any reservation (If applicable)
  • Original income certificate (If applicable)
  • Non-Creamy Layer Certificate in original in the prescribed format
  • Community certificate (if applicable)
  • Inter-caste marriage certificate (if applicable)
  • Self-attested copy of Medical Certificate obtained not earlier than 12 months

Application Submission

Application form for Kerala Nursing Admission 2019 will be submitted only through online mode. After filling and submitting the application form, the candidates have to send the printout of the application fee along with the supporting documents to the commissioner for the entrance examination. The candidates have to attest duly filled application form by the head of the institution where the candidate studied last. The candidates have to send the application form on or before the due date to the address given below:

Note: If the applicant has already applied under KEAM 2019 for admission to Engineering/Architecture/Pharmacy/Medical & Allied courses and has submitted documents/proof for Nativity and Communal/Special/Persons with Disabilities reservation or other benefits, the same will be displayed on the web page while submitting the online application. Such candidates need not send the documents again along with the printout of the application for availing such reservation/benefits. They need only send the printout of the application along with a self-attested copy of the mark list of their Qualifying Examination to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

BSc Nursing Kerala Result and Counselling

The candidates who apply for Kerala Nursing Admission 2019 will only be eligible to get admission through a rank list which will be prepared by the conducting body. Kerala Nursing Admission rank list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English put together in the final year exam. The six rank lists will be prepared by the conducting body and will be published on its official website and the validity of the rank list will be up to tentatively in late November 2019.

In a case of Tie: In a case of the tie in the total marks obtained by more the 1 candidates for ranking, the candidates with higher marks in Biology will be placed higher in the ranking. If the Tie still exists, the candidates with higher marks in Chemistry will be placed higher in the ranking. If the Tie still exists, the candidates with higher marks in Physics will be placed higher in the ranking. If the tie still exists, the percentage of total marks in the qualifying exam and the percentage of marks in English in the qualifying exam will be used for breaking the Tie.

Seat Allotment: A centralised allotment process will be conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE) through a Single Window System (SWS). The allotments will be strictly based on the rank list released by the CEE, availability of seats, eligible reservation of the candidates and the option exercised by the candidates.

Registration Option: The candidates, who are included in the rank list prepared by the CEE for BSc Nursing, will have to register their option in the concerned stream. The candidates can register only through online mode on the official website within the specified time schedule. To fill the registering option, the candidates have to use their application number and password to log in and have to register option.

CEE will publish allotment on its official website based on option registered. The candidates can see the allotment on the homepage. The candidates can show the course and college to which the candidates allotted seat.

Remittance of Fee: The candidate's allotted seats have to remit the described fee in cash by the candidates to the account of the CEE in any of the branches of SBI in Kerala.

BSc Nursing Kerala Result

The rank lists for admission to B.Sc Nursing and Paramedical Degree Courses 2019 is expected to release in the second week of August 2019. These lists are prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in specific subjects by candidates in their Qualifying Examination (Plus Two/Equivalent), after effecting Normalization procedure as per clause 8.4 of the Prospectus are published herewith on the websites of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
