Post Matric Scholarship For Minorities | Kerala Scholarship

Post Matric Scholarship for Minorities is to help students who belong to Minority Community (Muslim/ Christian/ Buddhists/ Sikh/ Zoroastrians or Parsi) in Kerala. Students whose annual family income is below Rs. 2 Lakhs can apply for this Post Matric Scholarship Kerala. Students after class 10 (Class 11 to PhD Course) can apply for this scholarship. To be eligible for this, students should have secured at least 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous Board/ University Examination. Kerala Post Matric Scholarship for Minorities Application starts from 23 July 2019. The last date to register for Post Matric Scholarship for Minorities is 30 Sept 2019.  Students can apply for this Kerala Scholarship from National Scholarship Portal www.scholarships.gov.in.

Central Sector Scholarship | DCE Scholarship Kerala

Central Sector Scholarship Scheme is for UG Students who are from lower income group families. This is a centrally sponsored scheme offered by Department of Higher Education, Govt. of India. Under this scheme, the total annual income of student’s parents should not exceed Rs. 6 lakhs per annum. Students from Kerala pursuing any regular Course at Under-Graduate Degree level can apply for Central Sector Scholarship. The scholarship is provided for Graduation and Post Graduation Studies. Central sector scholarship application starts from 2 August 2019. Interested students of Kerala can apply for this DCE Scholarship Kerala till 31 October 2019 from National Scholarship Portal.

State Merit Scholarship | Kerala Scholarship

State Merit Scholarship is a state-sponsored scheme of DCE Scholarship. Kerala State Merit Scholarship is for students studying in first year of Under Graduate or Post Graduate course in Govt/ Aided colleges or University Departments of Kerala. To be eligible for State Merit Scholarship, student should have secured at least 50% in the qualifying exam and student’s family income should not exceed Rs. 1 Lakh.  The state merit scholarship registration starts from 31 July 2019. Students can apply for this Kerala Scholarship before 31 August 2019. 

District Merit Scholarship | DCE Scholarship Kerala

District Merit scholarship is another Kerala Scholarship provided to students who have scored A+ in all subjects in the SSLC Exam, conducted by Board of Public Examinations, Kerala State. Students who want to apply for District Merit Scholarship Kerala should be studying for Higher Secondary/ VHSC/ ITI/ Poly Technic Course. District Merit Scholarship applications start from 31 July 2019. Students can register for this DCE Scholarship before 31 Aug 2019.

Merit Scholarship to the Children of School Teachers | DCE Scholarship Kerala

Kerala Merit Scholarship is provided to the children of Primary/Secondary School Teachers. The students should be first-year student of HSC/VHSC and undergraduate course in Govt/Aided Arts and Science College. The Merit Scholarship for children of school teachers starts from 31 July 2019. The last date to apply for this DCE Scholarship is 31 Aug 2019.

Hindi Scholarship (HS) | DCE Scholarship Kerala

Hindi scholarship is provided to Kerala Students who have Hindi as one of the Subject in the present studying course. Hindi Scholarship Kerala applications start from 31 July 2019. Students can apply for this DCE Scholarship kerala before 31 Aug 2019. The scholarship amount of Hindi Scholarship for Under Graduate students is Rs. 500 per month and Rs. 1000 for Post Graduate students. Total 180 scholarships provided to UG students and 59 scholarships to PG students.

Muslim Nadar Girls Scholarship (MNS) | Kerala Scholarship

Muslim Nadar Scholarship is for Girl students of Kerala who belong to forward of BPL family and backward community. The Girl students should be studying in first year of HSC/VHSC and undergraduate course in Govt/Aided Arts and Science College.

Sanskrit Scholarship (SSE) | DCE Scholarship Kerala

Sanskrit Scholarship Kerala is offered to Under Graduate and Post Graduate students that have Sanskrit as one of the subjects in the present studying course. The scholarship of Rs. 200 per month is provided to Under Graduate Students and Post Graduate Students. Total 55 Sanskrit Scholarships are offered to UG students and 25 scholarships are offered to PG Students. The applications for Kerala Scholarship for Sanskrit Students start from 31 July 2019. Sanskrit students can apply for this DCE scholarship before 31 August 2019.

Suvarna Jubilee Merit Scholarship | Kerala Scholarship

Suvarna Jubilee Merit Scholarship is another DCE Scholarship for Kerala Students that is provided to UG and PG students. Students who wish to apply for Suvarna Jubilee Merit Scholarship should be studying in the first year of Under Graduate or Post Graduate course in Govt/ Aided colleges or University Departments. The scholarship amount Suvarna Jubilee Merit Scholarship is Rs. 10,000 per annum. To be eligible for Suvarna Jubilee Merit Scholarship, student should belong to BPL family and must have secured 50% in the qualifying Examination.

C H Muhammedkoya Scholarship | Kerala Scholarship

C H Muhammedkoya Scholarship is offered to girl students who belong to Muslim, Latin,     and Converted Christian community. Students studying in the first year of Graduation or Higher courses in Govt./ Aided Institution can apply for C H Muhammedkoya Scholarship. Students who got admission to Self-financing colleges from merit seat can also apply for this DCE scholarship. To be eligible for C H Muhammedkoya Scholarship, students must have secured at least 50% in the qualifying exam and student’s family annual income should be less than 4.50 lakhs. Students can also apply for Hostel stipend. To be eligible for Hostel Stipend, students should be staying in recognized hostels.

C H Muhammedkoya Scholarship amount is given below:

• Under Graduates: Rs. 5,000 per annum
• Post Graduates: Rs. 6,000 per annum
• Professional Courses: Rs. 7,000 per annum
• Hostel Stipend: Rs. 13,000 per annum

Blind/PH Scholarship | DCE Scholarship Kerala

Blind/PH scholarship Kerala is for Blind/PH/Deaf students studying in Govt/Aided Arts and Science Colleges, Music   Colleges, and Govt/Aided Higher Secondary/Vocational Higher Secondary Schools. Kerala Scholarship for Blind/PH applications starts from 31 July 2019. Students can apply for this DCE scholarship before 31 August 2019. Blind/PH scholarship will cover:

• Fee charges for blind students with family annual income below Rs. 2.5 lakhs
• Hostel charges for all PH hosteller students with family annual income below Rs. 4.5 lakhs
• Boarding charges for all PH students who are day scholars with family annual income below Rs. 4.5 lakhs

Post Matric Scholarship for Disabilities | DCE Scholarship Kerala

Post Matric Scholarship for Persons with disabilities provides financial assistance to students with specific disabilities including blindness, hearing impairment, locomotor disability, mental illness etc. The students with specific disabilities defined in the schedule of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities act 2016 will be eligible for the Scholarship for Disabilities. This scholarship is for Class 10 passed students pursuing their higher studies. Applicants with at least 40% disabilities can apply for Post Matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities. The Post Matric Scholarship for Disabilities applications is open till 31 October 2019. Students are advised to check the detailed eligibility and apply before the due date.
