About CCI National Level Essay Competition 2017
CCI National Level Essay Competition 2017 is conducted by The Competition Commission of India (CCI) and the applications are invited for the National Level Competition only for the candidates pursuing undergraduate courses which include the candidates in the first three years of an Integrated PG course including CA/CS/ CMA category for the PG degree including PG Diploma/M.Phil./Ph.D./CA/CS/CMA/MBA. CCI National Level Essay Competition Topics
The candidates participating in the CCI Essay writing competition need to write an essay for the following topics. The essay should not be more than 3000 words including footnotes. There is no minimum word limit; however, authors are encouraged to submit essays of not less than 1500 words.

CCI National Level Essay Competition 2017 Reward
The Competition Commission of India (CCI) is offering the cash prizes in terms of rewards. The distribution of rewards would be made according to the categories. The candidates can check the complete prize list in the table below.
The prize will also be awarded a certificate each. The Competition Commission of India will also be published the name of the winners on the CCI's website. Although, a separate intimation will also be sent to each of the winner receiving the prize in an appropriate programme.

CCI National Level Essay Competition 2017 Application form and Process
The participants interested in applying for the CCI Essay Writing Competition have to follow the following procedures:
- The participants have to send the entries by 31 October 2017 through an email only at advocacy@cci.gov.in.
- The participants have to name the email as the subject - CCI Essay Competition 2017-18.
- The candidates should know that only original essays will be considered for the competition.
- Any form of plagiarism will result in the disqualification of the essay.

Structure of the CCI National Level Essay Competition 2017
- The Essay Competition entries shall have to be on one of the topics provided and submitted on or before the due date.
- Co-authored papers of up to two authors are permitted.
- Only one essay is allowed per participant or per collaborating team of co-authors. The prizes in such cases will be shared among the team members.
- The essay should not be more than 3,000 words including footnotes. There is no minimum word limit; however, authors are encouraged to submit essays of not less than 1,500 words.
- The format of the essay would be considered as per the following basis:
- Typed on A4 size electronic page.
- Font size shall be 12 points (English) in Times NewRoman
- 1.5 interlinear space
- Margins of one inch (2.54 cm) on all the four sides
- List of the references must be included throughout the essay.
CCI National Level Essay Competition 2017 Selection Process
The winner of the CCI Essay Competition 2017-18 will be decided by the jury based on their writing skills and other factors. While assessing the documents, the weightage would be given as below. Entries received without a COPY of Student Identity Card and Aadhar Card shall be summarily rejected
- Originality and clarity of the content
- Quality of the analysis and research
- Language and Structure of the Essay
- Grammar, syntax and form
