Scholarships for students depend on Attendance

A minimum of 75% attendance a must for students of Class 1 to 10 to avail scholarships, cash for cycle and uniform in pre-metric schools clarified the Bihar Government.

State cabinet coordination secretary Brajesh Mehrotra said, "It is clarified that the attendance of class I to X students should be 75% from the date of enrolment till September 30 as decided by the education department". Students will get the benefits on the basis of their attendance. If it is less than 75%, they would be deprived of these facilities, as per the notification of Bihar Education Project Council, he added.
