GATE Admit Card 2019 – IIT Madras will be issuing GATE admit card online to those candidates who have submitted the application within the last date. GATE admit card 2019 will be available from 4 January 2019 and a link will be available on this page. Candidates are advised to download GATE 2019 admit card or hall ticket and print the same. GATE admit card 2019 will be available only on GOAPS (GATE online application processing system). Applicants must carry their GATE hall ticket along with their ID proofs to the exam centre on the day of the test. Candidates should know that no hard copies of GATE 2019 hall ticket will be posted by post/email. The GATE admit card will include all the important information regarding the candidates and the exam. GATE Admit Card 2019

GATE Admit Card will be available online only to those aspirants who have successfully submitted the GATE Registration form 2019. Candidates will be able to download it by clicking on the below-provided link (whenever available on this page). Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering admit card will not be sent to any of the candidates by post. However, candidates are required to download the soft copy of the GATE Admit Card 2019 from the GOAPS website. Also, aspirants are required to keep GATE 2019 admit card safe until the admission process has ended.

How to download GATE admit card 2019?

Candidates who have registered themselves for GATE 2019 which is to be held on 2,3,9,10 February are required to download the admit card by following the below provided steps. After downloading online GATE admit card 2019, candidates must take a copy of their hall ticket for future references.

Candidates must go through the details mentioned on their GATE 2019 hall ticket before download the same. GATE admit card 2019 is an important document and it will provide details related to the date and time of the exam, test centre address. No candidates will be allowed to enter the test centre if he/she fails to carry their respective hall ticket.

What if there is any discrepancy on GATE Admit Card 2019?

In case of any error on the GATE admit card details, then candidates must make sure that they make the necessary correction before the exam date. Incorrect GATE 2019 admit card will be considered invalid. To make corrections in the admit card of GATE, candidates must contact the exam officials. However, it must be noted that the exam officials won’t be accepting any request regarding changes in exam centre, time and date.

Some important instructions regarding GATE admit card that candidates must remember are -

  • After downloading the admit card, candidates should check the information printed on their GATE hall ticket such as the name of the candidate, exam centre, date and time of the examination etc.
  • Candidates are required to make sure that they carry a valid GATE admit card to the test centre and produce the same to the invigilators for verification
  • Candidates are suggested to preserve the GATE Admit Card 2019 in good condition until the admission process gets over
  • Do not tamper the Admit Card or alter any details made therein after it has been authenticated
  • The candidates should know that an admit card is not transferable to any other person. Impersonation is a legally punishable offence.
  • The admit card will not be dispatched through the post to the candidates, so no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
  • GATE Admit Card 2019 is an important document to be carried at the exam centre.

Important Instructions to be followed for GATE 2019 Exam

Some important instructions regarding GATE 2019 that candidates must follow on the day of the test are

  • All candidates appearing for the GATE 2019 exam are required to bring the original printout of the GATE admit card.
  • Those candidates who fail to bring the admit card at the examination centre will not be permitted to enter the examination hall.
  • All the candidates are required to reach the venue well in advance. It is necessary to report half an hour before the commencement of the exam.
  • No candidate would be allowed to carry mobile phones, calculator, digital watch or any gadget inside the examination hall.
  • No candidates would be allowed to talk or discuss in the examination, any candidates found doing so will be dealt with as per the norms of the university.
